What’s your favorite thing to eat with naan? Ingredients you’ll need: - 45g (1/4 Cup + 2 Tbs) flour - 10g (1.5 Tbs) coconut flour - 1g (1/4 tsp) psyllium husk powder - 70g greek yogurt - 3g (1/2 tsp) baking powder - 2g (1/3 tsp) garlic powder - pinch of salt

Fyi for those of us who are only supposed to have whole grains for medical reasons, whole wheat flour still works well, and oddly tastes better to me, kinda nutty, buuuut is a little tougher, little less fkuffy, making it better designed for eating with wet foods (I love it with pretty much any curry)... I make it 2-3 times a week, it's my primary bread source, I'll update this later when I make with this specific recipe to see how it turns out with this recipe, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be good.

I found your recipe because I was looking for a healthier naan recipe I could make at home with more protein. One of my absolute favourite snacks when I’m craving something sweet, I try to avoid excess sugar and processed foods, so make a lot of things myself so I know exactly what’s in it. One of my favourite sweet, very satisfying snacks is toasted naan (I just cut it in half and put it in the toaster (if I make my own I can make it a better size for this!). Then I spread about 1/2 teaspoon butter it totally melts so a very little goes a long way! Then I add 1/4tsp honey, 1/4tsp real maple syrup, 1/4tsp molasses (I like the mix but you could simply use just 1 or 2 of these. Just enough to lightly spread over the surface of the toasted naan! Then I sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon over it. For me it’s the most satisfying, comforting dessert or would also make a decent breakfast or far healthier snack for kids instead of cookies! I think I might also try doubling this recipe and adding an egg for even more protein. I understand I’d want to keep the dough fairly dry which is why I double it before adding the egg. The more the better too! I can’t wait to make this! Just need to get psyllium husk. Great idea to add that in!

I wonder if you could use vital wheat gluten instead of the regular flour. That would make the recipe even more high protein and low carb too. I've made similar things with just coconut flour, psyllium husks and water when on keto diet - and that works well too, although the texture isn't the same as a proper naan (obviously). Gonna try your version this week! 🙂
