St. Croix has an amazing warranty...I closed the trunk on mine and told them and they did not care...they replaced FOC and all they asked is that I show brand loyalty for them. Issue a claim and get a replacement.

At 5:38 that was some sort of clingfish possibly a northern clingfish. I remember catching them under the rocks at my local beach, and under rocks at Cayman Islands. It took me a while to figure them out😂

Knew someone made 'tea' using the rose hips that come on those plants in September. Scientific name is rosa rugosa and it is prolific at the Jersey shore as well.

That’s good to know. I’ll be looking for it when I come to Jersey! Campers out at montauk are always making stuff out of it!

Careful walking around out there alone , you could fall into a sink hole filled with mud , happened to my boy while we were crabbing low tide. His crab net saved him, it turned sideways and wouldn’t let him go lower

That fish is a skillet fish, they have fused pelvic fins which creates a suction cup on their bellies, maybe you felt it when you grabbed it. Common species around structure on Long Island

Great videos, as always! Lots of content and video capture. Question what deck boots are you wearing? Look better than Korkers for summer. Thank you.

Thank you!! They’re Huk Boots. As long as you’re not climbing on dangerous jetties and big boulders, they’re great!

dumb question: what is the "back bay," i've lived on LI forever but i'm never sure if it's the shore of the bay on the main island or the back side of the barrier island on the bay side.

What rod and reel combo? I know it’s St Croix Tournament Legend Inshore. But which one?

Thanks.Sorry that you broke it. Do you like the Tournament Legend? I’m looking for a rod that can handle snook, big reds and smaller tarpon in N Florida. I have the Avid. But I was wondering if the Tournament Legend was better.
@GetReelBassFishing5 ай бұрын
There’s a bunch of different models for both the avid and legend tournament inshores. Ive got an Avid MHF 7’6 and 7’ MHF LTI, both are great. I feel like the avid may be a little tougher for horsing in larger and harder fighting fish, where, in my opinion, the legend tournament inshore feels best for more “finesse” type fishing. Both will get the job done. 100%. But as far as “feel” I would maybe go with the Avids.

Interesting because Outdoor Life’s Review of the Tournament Legend said the exact same thing.
