With your video I was able to get this going with the MPVI2 and the newer style AEM X series wideband. Hey Randy, question if you could help. I followed this video and got the AFR on point for idle but where would you adjust for when it reaches it's max reading? To clarify, on my AEM WBO2 I'm showing 10.3-10.4 AFR live, but in my datalogs it's showing 11.7afr. any input on which part of the PID needs to be corrected?
@LowbuckLS4 жыл бұрын
Is your WBO2 the same model as the one I'm using? If it isn't you may need to tweak the formula I used a bit. Where I enter the formula at around 10:30 in the video and I multiply the variable by 2 and add 10, you can try adjust those numbers slightly. If it agrees when you're at idle, i.e if the AEM reads 14.7 and your logs read 14.7 but is out at WOT, I'd increase the 2 by a bit, in other words, multiply the variable by 2.1 or something then add 10. This will make the reading in the logs change by 2.1 for every volt the output from the AEM changes. If it's out by an equal amount at idle and at wide open throttle, adjust the 10 part of the equation, this will shift the reading in the logs up or down to match the AEM reading. Hope this helps, I'm not great at explaining math.
