As a 54 year old woman I can't tell you how much watching this video thrills me. My knees are starting to ache, they pop and grind. Knowing there are workouts I can do at my age makes me happy.

I just finished watching your lower body strength workout video on FFP and my girlfriend asked if you ever made a similar video for women. So we came to check and boom here it is, you never let us down Doc. Looking forward to trying them out together tomorrow morning, we've been lacking in good lower body workouts so these are gonna be great.

Even though I have a while until I'm 50 I still appreciate this video. I've been trying to strengthen my lower body and I think these workouts are perfect for me. I'm definitely going to fit these into my daily workout. They really seem easy and quick to do.

I'm not in my 50s but I think these exercises will help anyone with back and leg problems. I really like Exercise #3 as I'm always looking for new workout ideas for my exercise ball. And who knew that using a band for squats would be so beneficial for the glutes? Thanks for this helpful video!

Oh I just can’t wait to try these out. Just not sure about the walking lunges can’t get the knee down to the ground. I would really love to know which is the best exercise ball out there.. Also please tell me the make and model of that home gym that is by the mirror.

Hey Mary, thanks for writing in and great questions! Unfortunately, we do not know the name of the home gym though most on the market are made with great quality these days. This actually applies to the stability ball as well. However, SPRI is a great brand that makes quality exercise products. And lastly, you can always try Box Step-Ups in place of the lunges. i loved fitness. I find now that i am 55 i have to limit the type of things i do. More rebounding, for cardio. I used to do all kinds of boxing, step box, spinning , plyo etc. My body doesnot like that anymore. Been struggling to figure out how to get my body leaner and strong without hurting myself. Shoulder pain, etc. Do you have this in your program. I am doing bands right now but donot get the muscle i need .

i am a person who loves fitness. I find most of the programs are so endurance based. Which is fine but at 57 throwing those weights above my head causes alot of pain. ALso i do a lot of rebounding low bounce . Any ideas what i can do to really strengthen and get rid of all my noticable loose skin etc. I do know creams etc do not work but i would love to diguise it with fitness. Any programs for that

Do you have any suggestions for not losing my balance when I’m doing the goblet squats? Not sure if I’m doing too much weight, or my form is off or what but it seems I can only do 4-5 squats before I’m losing my balance and falling backwards

These exercises are not back friendly if you have back issues. I appreciate them, but they really are not safe for people with back issues. Any ideas to modify them to be safer?

Obviously because the dumbbells are adjustable kzbin.infoUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 they are a little bulky for certain movements. The handles are decent and fairly comfortable. We really love that they saved space in our small home and that is primarily why we got them. We've had them for more than 6 months now and haven't had any problems at all. I definitely would avoid dropping them however as I don't think they're built to handle that.

Hi Jayashree, if you haven't got a ball try with two small towels or sliders, place your feet in the towel and slide your feet in the floor back and forward keeping your glutes raised, the same movement as shown in the video but with your feet sliding with the towels in the floor 👍
