@@todddavis4203 remember adjust your depth to how ever deep you are, the auto adjust isn’t the best and makes your screen smaller

I feel Lowrance should offer 2 versions of the Eagle eye. 1 for bass fisherman, 1 for crappie fisherman. I have an Active target 2 and being able to see whats directly under your boat to 20ft out is essential for jigging crappie. Being able to see 30ft+ isnt as important other than finding loaded trees. Just my 2 cents.
@ksfishingadventuresАй бұрын
@@jasonstokley7274 I agree, I’m in the market for active target 2 now as I don’t like being off brush 20-40 ft, especially with all the wind we get here it’s hard to cast a jig that far out and still see the brush

Thanks for the video. Nice to see someone actually setting the screen to the proper depth. Can’t tell you how many videos guys are fishing in 15’ and setting the screen to 30+. Am also thinking about buying this unit. Do you feel it’s worth it or go with the better ones like Garmin or Mega 2? I fish from a kayak.
@ksfishingadventures29 күн бұрын
@@cutley2b yea that small screen drives me nuts, with that being said this is a solid unit for the money , I didn’t have the money to buy active target 2 and a new front unit. But I would definitely go with a full fwd facing sonar as it offers alooooot more in my opinion. This unit just scratches the itch but is capable of a lot

I took mine out on my kayak a couple nights now and it is sweet 👌I think you can put a microsd card in the side and record from the system btw.
@ksfishingadventuresАй бұрын
@@EastTexasAnglerJordan that might be better than recording it with a camera

@ for the money it’s definitely well worth it vs paying 2500+ for anything else on the market

@@jwblount7802I think if you use braid you can see the splash and bubbles it produces.
