Did you have to cut off the restrictor on the fuel sender? The one on the 5/16 return. I heard it causes high fuel pressure if not cut off.

I know this is an older video but where did you get that return style fuel sending unit??? I can only find returnless or efi and I already set mine up for a inline fuel pump with return style and I can't seem to find a fuel sending unit that is return style that isn't efi. My el camino not taking gas wonder if it's my sending unit

So I have a few questions. On my 78 350SBC ElKy it was obviously carbed. I just ordered the fuel pump unit for an 86 ElKy, Corvette filter/regulator, AN fitting and hose kit but my question now is what do I do about the fuel tank? Do I get the 85-87 4.3 tank or will the stock tank work just fine? I know that the 85-87 have the baffle but I have no clue about the 78 and would rather not have to spend more money when I know my tank isn't rusted and is in good shape.

I viewed your video again & notice no fuel pump attached to the fuel tank sending unit so the unit is still meant for carburetors engine so I'll rephrase my earlier question to 2 questions. Question 1: What fuel tank sending unit did you use? I noticed that it has 3 inlet/outlet tubes while the old one had only 2. Question 2: What external fuel pump did you use?
