Did you lose the functionality of your e-shift buttons and get a light on the dash when you installed your steering wheel? I want to install a Nardi in my gs300 but I don’t want to lose the shift buttons and I hate lights on the dash.

I did lose the shift button and I took out the airbag light bulb on my dash since I was planned on putting a bucket seat too. The manual mode isn’t that big of a deal for me since i’m buying parts to manual swap already and just enjoy the auto for now!

Hii I hope someone can help me with a question that I have. I’m slowly starting to work on cars and I need help to where to jack up my is300. I read the owner manual and forums. Someone people say that you shouldn’t jack up at the diff and some say you should. Also how would you jack up the front end of the car? What other best place to jack up the car?

Hien Nguyen Hey! I always do it on the pinch welds! You can do it by the diff technically but I much rather have it on the jacking points on the welds! MAKE SURE TO ALWAYS USE JACK STANDS!

Static Garage ohhh so you Jack it up by the pitch weld but where would you place the jack stand if you are lifting it up by the pitch weld the jack?

Hien Nguyen you can jack up in various appropriate places but keep the jack stands near the pinch welds. If you don’t want to destroy your pinch welds get some adaptors, Figs makes some good ones for the IS300 though they’re pricey (20 for one corner). Trust me if you work on your car a lot your pinch welds will deteriorate considering how these cars are getting old now.

Bro I was gonna get one on coilovers already with wheels and only 60000 miles on it but I couldn't afford to pay it all at once. I had to go with a 1 owner 138000 miles one. Which was still nice because it was one owner and he only drove it 8k miles a year and clean title +++++ it's a Lexus is300 with a NA-2jz. Very much still in good health 😂
