I own 3 Lucchese Classics. Calf and Goat ropers, and custom Matador cut Bison. Great quality and craftsmanship. All fit very similar. I feel their sizing is consistent. Favorite boots

You gave the logical reason to use a Boot-Jack, however most guys who use a Boot-jack use it because their boots are way to tight !

Im a size under any other boot, take that in mind. Also D vs EE can make a big difference for you, Get them snug for sure as they to give to your foot over time.

What do you think about a vamp that is not 1 piece. This vamp has an extra piece near the heel? Does this possibly signify lower quality? Or is it common with Lizard and Caiman? I haven't see many ostrich boots with this design. The vamp appears to be 1 big piece.

Have a pair about like these same heel, toe, and leather. Most comfortable pair I have ever worn and don’t think I’ll buy another brand 10/10 worth the money. Have had the boots about a year worn them multiple times had dogs walk on the tops of them multiple tomes with no scratches shown, very tough boots and worth the money.

I own Lucchese boots in Cowhide, Elk Calfskin, Long Quill Ostrich, etc. To me, the only better boots are bespoke, made off of a custom last. But, I can’t justify spending that much money for boots. Ariats for work, Lucchese for casual and dress. They’re amazing boots.

I would really like to see a review of Thorogood Wellington’s wedge sole, tobacco color. I am on the fence with them. I would like to know about the fit. If they are a boot that has a lot of slip in the heel, or are they a nice snug boot that stays in place all day. I’m sure they are comfortable as all my Thorogood boots are. Thanks for your time . Got a pair of lucchese ostrich, giant gator, sheep suede, & distressed bison so far. All of them fit the same, which the fit is excellent. I've tried different brands but the lucchese fit my feet the best.

Check historical photos, writings of the Western Civilizations plus Hollywood cowboys from the 1920's till around 1960; show most of the heroes : Tom Mix, Johnny Mack Brown , Bob Steele , Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, Zorro , Cisco Kid, Clayton Moore's Lone Ranger, Sgt. St. Joan of Arc was burned at the stake for refusing to finally give up dressing as a soldier, male gender only back then. Her type of pants that got her killed ? Tights ! The same tights that our society the last 100 yrs. , implies it has been female wear only !

Yes; why not ? Women for modesty sake , felt the societal pressure to not look promiscuous, didn't wear tights or pants as an outerwear garment; they most like wore these protective leg covering under their skirts and dresses; who else would know ? There was mostly a gender defined wardrobe between the sexes but it was the female who historically cross-fashion gender barrier piece meal until the early 1960's and females kicked the whole " fashion wall " down not the males. They blurred the fashion gender line and they call it " androgenous fashion; females gained the whole of historical male fashion and automatically reduced to a fraction of menswear styles that was previously available to males only. I think females should wear menswear or their feminized versions if it has a athletic or warmth purpose otherwise they should refrain from now exclusively wearing menswear type clothing 24 / 7. The sleekest menswear because only femeale wear almost overnight and heterosexual just accepted their loss of fashion freedom caused by leftist politics.
