That's what it's all about for us Mike, do it right, do it once. Especially with cars like this, don't screw around you could cost someone their life by doing it wrong.

Did this car have a rear sway bar or anti roll bar? It did not look like it did.

No upper control arm adjustments? I have adjustments on mine but you have to pull the strut to adjust it. So makes it hard.

What is the cost for you to do this? I have a fourth GEN Camaro that basically needs the same thing done everything on mine is BMR and one of the problems I’m having is the car is very hard to steer while driving. It does have a manual rack on it, but it’s harder than it should be, I live in Kansas and would be willing to make a trip to you
@LucoreAuto10 ай бұрын
It's really hard to say until we get the machine on the rack and see just where we are, sometimes it's 2 hours, sometimes it's 8 hours, just depends. There's a lot of change, test, reset, change, test, reset that happens on something like this. NO ONE wants to watch a 6 hour video of us doing something like this so there's a lot that doesn't make it into the video. But when you are playing in a game where doing it wrong can cost a car or a life, you don't cut corners. Make sure it's right, make sure it's ready to come right off our rack and make a pass. We would certainly be more than happy to help out on yours just give us a call and we can work on scheduling, something like that we would block out the entire day just to make sure any challenges that may pop up we can handle.

These aftermarket tubular a arms and kmember are designed wrong and are dangerous, they should not have a slot to slide on, the only one that does it correctly is burkhart chassis and UMI has a version for road racing that solves this issue with them being able to slide no matter how much you tighten them bolts. I have a spool and wide slicks, I couldnt back out out of my garage without them sliding and I ended up weldin tbe washer and later I welded on some tabs on each side of the slot, and than I had a plate sandwiched in between with a hole for the bolt to go thru, I made 20 plates with each hole moved 1/16" to adjust them only to find out UMI uses this same style on their setup.

The factory control arms have slots in them….
@v8tergt65319 күн бұрын
@ Yes but the face of the bushing and the washer has like teeth on them and somehow the oem steel is different. The aftermarket Powdercoated surfaces are much more slippery and a smooth washer just slides on them. I even tried Nord Lock washers and it didn’t help.

Working for a living to keep the doors open and lights on, we always have bits of our own projects moving forward in the background but customers always come first. Especially paying ones.
