This was the tough love I needed because you couldn’t be more right. Your comfort zone is like quicksand it keeps you in the same place and doesn’t allow for growth and change. I’m also going on a language learning journey and though it’s hard it’s been so rewarding 💛

I had that past of hiding myself from everything and everyone. It was very tough because no one understood what I was dealing with and it was hard to explain myself at that time. I tried telling someone I can trust the most. From that it didn't really go somwhere. So I had to deal social anxiety by myself. After few years of not facing anything, being disliked by everyone and being scared by their cold stares. Also my family thought I was going crazy and dull. Honestly I was just addicted to social media, depressed, and overhwhelmed by everything around me. The only thing I had to do was get the most tiniest silver needle and pop the thick balloon. That I was in for too long. That was the best decision of my life because I was starting to act normal again. Finally, I felt abit happy. I can talk to people that i was more comfortable with. For anyone out there who's struggling. Try getting out of your own balloon it doesn't have to be the most biggest and sharpest thing to pop with. Start making small holes with it. Gradually, you'll get out there soon as you want it to be. It takes time and patience. Try to blame yourself less. Always be kind to yourself.

I want to greet you, you're a role model to follow in regard to our generation. Hasn't been the first video I watched from you, I started to face life as it actually is since I deleted my instagram account and did quit an amount of harmful habits. From an 18 year old, 3 things only matter to me, my spirituality and my loved ones and the suffer behind the success. I love discomfort!

I've been working on changing my mindset and appreciating life more recently in the aims of improving my mental health and watching a bunch of your videos along the way has helped so much! They leave my thinking and I appreciate that so much. So far, I have gone on a really great social media detox and have bought A Million Miles in A Thousand Years (have not yet read it though but looking forward to it!). Thank you for these really lovely videos, I'm sure so many more people beyond me appreciate them as I do!

This video spoke to me in many ways. I was always afraid to leave my comfort zone. I remember taking my first solo trip to New Zealand and Thailand and I was terrified!! But I made it through. Now that I am trying a new endeavor, I am struggling to achieve it. Also this video makes me want to visit Europe. I'm glad I found this video. Thank you, Lucy

I always start with the city or place i have in mind, then I find music to correlate. Normally when I am in the city I think of a storyline to follow which helps me mesh them together but I don't script until the week of editing :)

Before covid I use to work 30 hours a week whilst struggling (I was on like £5 an hour) and I would stay in the cheapest hostel and eat the cheapest thing on the menu. I did that for probably 3 years. Now I’m very grateful because KZbin pays a lot nicer than my old bar job and I can travel without worrying soooo much about the money- but of course I still budget everything due to old habits.
@georgiaduncan32832 жыл бұрын
@@LucyAlllan oh wow!! Tbh I used to work 70 hours on 9£ and still struggled because of where I lived. I then quit my job and am currently travelling for a month as that's all i could afford!!
