For reference luffys ship is stated to be 50 meters tall (as big as the attack on titan walls), theres buildings outside onigashima that DWARF that ship, kaido is seen sitting on top of mountains and when stretched out he is almost as big as KURI in wano (his estimated size is 700-1000 meters, thats 2-3 times the size of KURAMA from naruto), also the eyes in the skull of onigashima have been calculated to be as huge as the meteors madara dropped on the shinobi alliance. and luffys fist IS AS HUGE AS THIS GIGANTIC ISLAND OF SUPER STRUCTURES THAT CAN FIT EVEN KAIDO INSIDE.

I like the references to Luffy's giant fist! Gear 4 was used for the first time against Doflamingo and with the King Kong Gun it was this huge fist. Here against Kaido Gear 5 was used for the first time and there the fist is 10 times bigger. Such parallels are what I like about One Piece.

Oda said it in 2016 during Kaido's first appearance that he doesn't know how Luffy could beat him and it won't be with such a big and strong punch and now what do we have here a punch that is bigger than Onigashima infused with conqueror Haki and ryou combined with Luffy's Awakening. Fun fact on none of the Villans being killed especially by Luffy. Oda has stated. “The reason Luffy doesn't kill is this: In his era, men live by their beliefs and risk their lives to defend them. nope in the manga Luffy doesn't shatter kaido's belief Luffy just granted kaido long awaited wish which is to be defeated. while kaido is falling down into the lava he is smiling and thinking about luffy's word to him "I WILL MAKE A WORLD WHERE EVERYONE CAN EAT WHAT THEY WANT" then while kaido remembered what Luffy just said to him Kaido is having a flashback where he was young and hungry.

Honestly beautiful episode and the greatest fight sequence in all of OP history in my opinion. Even better than ZoroPiece when he beat King which was also 🐐 ed. But moments like Luffy's giant fist doing the manga justice is what makes me love OP so much. I only have one complaint however and it's tiny so it's not a huge deal... But in the manga, Yamato's reaction was even more epic and accurate imo... She said "Is he prepared to punch THROUGH Onigashima?" It just sounds so much more badass than "punch a hole" and that fist is relative to the islands size so that fist right there is atleast 15 Kilometers wide and 6 or seven tall if I'm low balling. So epic 🔥🐐
