@@113dmg9 As you would already know, 'wholesome' is subjective. To me as a film-maker it fulfills my expectations of what a short entertainment should contain. A tight script, proper execution, etc. After a great evening with friends, having a few drinks, a roast for dinner and a loving wife for company in bed, it did seem 'wholesome' at the time.

When I witness shabby productions I get seriously upset. For several reasons. And much to my delight I come across films like the one we're commenting on. What I DID expect, was that she poisoned him as soon as they showed a close-up of him drinking as she was talking about poisoning. What I DIDN'T expect, was that his wife had hired her! I thought she was just killing off people who solicit murders, which also would've been dope! This was great.

Really well done and top-notch acting. It leaves me kind of wondering if she took out the wife as well, since she got paid for both, but it kind of leans towards only his demise. One glaring continuity error I would point out - she swallows down her drink, then cut to next scene and it has plenty in the glass again. I thought it would be a nice touch if it never went to her lips at all. I don't think it would have given the story away and it would be one of those 'ah-hahs' when you watch it a second time.

I truly enjoyed this short film. Jade Michael delivered a perfect performance of her character. Just for fun, did anyone else notice the glasses of Champagne? When she poured them 1/4 full, in the next scene, they were 1/2 full. Also, how does a pizza delivery driver afford an assassin? Still, it was a fun story with a smart twist.

Loved it, I love clever. Had me thinking lots of different things, great and then the "coup de grace". Liked the touch with the champagne, in fact the whole champagne scene was cool; did anyone notice how she opened it?

I was so entertained that I’m moved to write this comment. It was ironic that he delivers pizza and plays hockey, and after his wife is gone, he will continue to do those things. Ironic because his wife is not an impediment to him doing those activities.
