@@AndreaAschi I mean, I've tried barna superglanti, more recently store Kraft, and that makes me feel bad when I read comments like "it's the rubber winning the points". It's SUPER HARD to block top spins the way you do. I had to go back to yasaka anti power to regain blocking control... I'm really and honestly impressed by your skill, certainly due to many years of hardships and training.

Hola andrea , me gusta tu estilo de juego. Juego lapicero, me gusta jugar con yadaka anti power en el reves. Tengo un nivel intermedio. Juego dos veces a la semana. Es notable como de una goma anti sin friccion a una anti con friccion , los golpes deben ser diferente. De las anti sin friccion, cual seria la ideal para empezar a jugar , la Dr Neubauer ABS Pro, o la super Glanti.

I would love to see you playing and training with a player who uses spinless style and just counters and hits. I'm again and again surprise how many players totally underestimate the reversal spin that is produced by the antispin and play net or to overshoot. So how does this look against a hard hitter?

I have a video of a match played against a very good blocker that will come out later. 😉 Against this type of player I use the anti trying to slow the game down and play it safe waiting for the right ball to attack with forehand.

Andrea, how thick is the Forehand sponge? I had difficulty with max thickness and today I use 1.7 I use Matador Texa Carbon (with long pips), it improved my forehand and saved me effort (thanks carbon). But I have to improve my loop, I can't attack balls well with backspin.

Hi Fabio! The Bluegrip I tested has max thickness. If your biggest difficulties are against backspin balls I recommend a softer rubber (Bluegrip C2 has a very hard sponge). I had the same problem. 😉

Hı Fabio, I use Evolution EL-S 2.1 mm on FH side of Texa Carbon. It suits very well, control, speed and spin is perfect. I put Tsp Curl-P1 0.5 mm on BH side. It is perfect too.

So what’s the setup exactly other than pro. I did use pro but to me the blocks are too high and spin reversal is very limited compared to barna SG . Control is much more and better attacking potential. Are you still using your regular blade or texa carbon?

Hi Onur! You can find the complete setup in the description. I also had some initial problems with the height of the blocks but that's because I'm used to a very different sponge. I'm testing new material now that the season is over.

Ok now I saw it . Yea texa carbon does a good job in blocks . I felt like I preferred the evo version better for shorter blocks but only used that a limited time on my friends setup

Per essere la prima volta che la provavo direi che é andata benino...anche considerando che é una racchetta del tutto diversa dalla mia. Questa anti ha una gommapiuma dura e veloce (io sono abituato a una lenta e morbida) ed é ottima per attaccare e mettere sotto pressione l'avversario. Dovrei provarla per 2 mesi e vedere come si comporta in tutte le situazioni di gioco. Al momento continuo a preferire la mia anti più controllante.

Hi Danilo! The main difference is the speed because of the new sponge. ABS PRO is better suited for aggressive play at the table. If you like this style the PRO is amazing, opponent is always under pressure. 😉

Hello! The choice depends on your playing style and the blade you use. Yasaka anti power and the dr neubauer antis (they have an hard surface with no friction, anti power has a little bit of grip) are different rubbers. It is difficult to compare them. I would tell you that the closest is the ABS Soft since it is softer than the others.

My conclusion is that for my game I prefer a slower anti that allows me to make short blocks. But for those who prefer to be more active with their backhand this rubber should definitely be tried! Spin reversal is very good, similar to my regular setup.

If you're playing with a slow blade you can opt for the ABS 2 PRO (if you are looking for something similar to long pips in terms of speed and usage but with more spinreversal) or for the ABS 2 EVO (if you are looking for something slower, I would recommend it though if you are a player who tends to attack with forehand)

Hi! Butterfly super anti is a classic anti (It means it has a low friction surface). You can execute any stroke safely but you will almost never put pressure on your opponent because it is a rubber that does not give effect and is therefore predictable. Dr Neubauer's anti are different. They are frictionless and therefore suitable for use close at the table to reverse the incoming spin. If you would like to play similar to me then you need to choose a dr Neubauer's anti

Hello! In general, the best blades to use with anti are fast and stiff ones. If you are interested in using ABS 2 PRO I recommend you: - Dr. Neubauer Matador (if you prefer to have more control) or - Dr. Neubauer Matador Texa Carbon (if you prefer to put more pressure on your opponent or if you already have experience with these rubbers)

Hi Andrea, so when you block spinny topspins, do you hold you racket with a strong or a lose grip? And you try to not move the racket while blocking those topsins, right?

Hi priorat! In all game situations I try to keep my wrist as relaxed as possible. This is what works on me. ;) The movement of the racket depends on the speed of the ball that I have to block. If the ball has enough speed then I stay passive. If the ball comes in slow then I make a slight forward movement to accompany it.

Hello Alberto! Since the blade in question is defensive the anti that should go best is the A-B-S 2 PRO. It should be used close to the table, however! It is not made for playing classic defense.
