Quel bel héritage tu nous laisse Sylvain ! Et quelle belle personne tu as été. Je n'ose pas imaginer combien Bireli doit être ravagé par la nouvelle.

Anybody does understand what is them doing with Sunny’s chord progression from 0:45 to 1:02? I mean, that is not the order
@loicarzur54303 жыл бұрын
Hi I don't understand what you expect at 45''? If we start counting the beat when they start playing, they play the whole form (AABC) of 16 mesures of four beats that ends at 51'''...
@loicarzur54303 жыл бұрын
My excuses you are right! It seems they have added an extra mesure to their intro or they have "extended" the first mesure of the theme exposure...and the third too 😁 Naughty boys! here are my guesses from 51'' to 1'05'' [Gm7] [Bb13b\Ab] [EbM9\G] [DbM9\F**] [DbM7] [Am75b\G|D7] *the exact same form as a Gm7 **the exact same form as an Fm7 ->"Bb13b\Ab" means Bb13b where Ab iscthe bass note This should stand for 4 mesures and i count 6 -> Naughty NAUGHTY BOYS! It took me hours to figure out what came to their minds in a few seconds and I am wrong perhaps Nevertheless the comping sounds right on my guitar Have a wonderful year 2022 with health and goods

Honestly? straordinary performance, but Sylvain is too fuckin egocentric, thats why they didnt replicate it anymore, he was unable to follow a structured line during the whole bireli's solo almost trying to make him fall, you did your part and you have been amazing, now let Bireli shine, still improvising during bireli's solo, out of time, changing tonality, rithm, everything, lukily bireli is a genius and doesnt fall for so little.
@zzzdi57704 жыл бұрын
First, Luc didn't change tonality during Lagren's solo, and barely rhythm. His comp remains steady and comfortable. It is known that Biréli was sick, or ill, that night. Jazz musicians are humans. Sometimes they are bad (still exceptionnal for us but anyway). Luc had one of these incredible shining chorus, Biréli was kinda off, shit happens. Relax.
@zzzdi57704 жыл бұрын
However, Lagrene's comp is absolutely top-notch. Love it.
