You don't cover a song to play it like the original version. You make a new interpretation of it. And i think they did a good one. If i wanted to hear a version that sounds like the original, i'd listen to the original.....

But you also have to respect the original (which I do feel this cover does). A lot of people cover songs and change the arrangement or tempo or melody completely. That's just disrespectful in my book. I do like this cover very much. Peace!

Nah, this was an awful cover. The band is okay but the singer's style does not suit this song. The only good cover I've heard that captures the feeling of the song while doing something different is the Lindsay Schoolcraft version.

How come this never became a hit? It sounds a 1000 times better then the Cure. It's a live performance so it may not be perfect but it has a good strong beat to it and the harp adds so much. She is also a doll. Just watching her makes up for any imperfections.
