In my opinion, the lack of respect from the Ford Mustang/Coyote industry toward LUND Racing can be traced back to the negative behavior within the racing community. LUND Racing distinguishes itself as a non-conformist, deviating from the established industry norms. LUND Racing's success, achieved through independent problem-solving and outperforming the competition, has bred resentment among competitors who disapprove of their accomplishments. By deviating from the conventional mold, LUND Racing has inevitably attracted criticism from those who resist change. They hate you because they ain't you.

Long follower of your channel Alex and I really appreciate you bringing Jon into this interview. I liked how humble, knowledgeable, and calm he is. One day if Ford comes up with a Mustang variant built in association with Lund and even if it only has a stupid sticker resembling Lund I will put my money into it because I'm a true believer in what Lund stands for as a brand and I'm totally on that boat. Keep the good work going, things will only get better for Lund Racing in the coming future.

Love the sit down with Jr. You guys have such an ideal dynamic. Alex is the guy who can confront the bullshit with tact and precision, Jr is the guy who just doesn’t care to be, in his own words, “Famous.” Joe Shmow might beat Lund to the first flash, but it’s like hiring a homeless man to give you a heart transplant. Can he cut you open? Sure. Will it be as through and tight as a Doctor? No.

Hp tuners is the same way with GM stuff. Its an emissions controller first and foremost. We make it do what we want. Good injector data, change stoich and fueling should be in line if the tune is good to begin with.

If junior is serious about tuning an ls9, I’d love for him to tune mine. I know I’m a nobody to him but I am someone who would be willing to let him to it 100%. Also not too far from you guys and I could haul the car down there.

In the most respectful way possible, I do not want Ford to give Lund access….because it seems the disadvantage makes them work harder and makes them who they are today. Simply the BEST Ford tuner on the planet…periodtttttt!!

Been using Lund for 3 years, Now that I Got higher compression on my new coyote motor and change the heads valves to bigger ones , states my old tune would be just fine for the new motor, didnt even ask to do a data log to check its functionality. With evrything going on it gets me thinking :(

It really sucks that people don’t respect Lund. They’re the best hands down at Tuning. But Maybe if they fabricated their own parts other companies would seek them more. And given them more access to information.
