Its a beautiful property ❤! I wish it wasn't so modern..love the old historic charm of Italy. Thanks for sharing.

Well, the good news is, you’ll have lots and lots of heavy wood beams and Tire cottage floors to choose from. Properties like this are actually pretty rare especially in the historic center. But Italy is the epicenter worldwide for high style and ultra modern. So not surprising that some of their houses look like that. Thanks for watching and I’ll be doing more old-school stuff very soon. Like next Saturday…

The design is beautiful, very modern, the best part? The unfinished basement! Why? Cause i love rustic architecture, stones, bricks, etc. As a matter of fact even though the apartment is really nice, i do not want anything resembling what we can find in the US! I want something with real character, unique, and with history. A " cave " will be ideal for me! 😂 . I already started reading your book brad, and highly recommend it to all here. I will give it my thumbs up 👍 on amazon.

Yeah, there is a lot of both styles here. People forget that not all places here are old world. Probably only 20% of places are more than 100 years old. Italy is the epicenter of high design and ultra modern. I know a lot of people here that HATE the terra cotta floors and tiny windows etc. But there is something for everyone and I show a lot of old school places so you’re in the right place! Personally, I would put carpet on the stairs and a handrail of some kind. Yes, this is a move-in-ready home. For Italy, the cost is just a bit high but not a show-stopper. 1500 sq ft is a bit small but they seem to use the space very well. I take it that the basement is not part of the 1500 sq ft. It looks like this gives the property over 2000 in total? What about outside? I have to buy your book!

Hi Brad and Olivia. Is that a fireplace in the living room? You never focused on it, and I didn't see a flu. That backroom in the basement would make a really good cozy TV room with a huge flat-screen. I had a great uncle who would drive us around when I was a kid smoking a Cubana with the windows rolled up. Ugh! Turn me green. Hate em. That is an exceptional price! I'd put some sort of railing on those steps to the first floor for the safety of the wine drinkers. Ciao

I saw that after. Not a real one. Maybe electronic. There was no flu up through the next level so…. Agreed on railing. Easy fix!

I think the old apartments are great. I always say in my videos how I love big beams and fireplaces. But I think when you have a place that was probably a shell without floors like this was, it’s OK not to recreate that. I was in sofa biz for over 25 years and Italians had the most modern looking sofas. It is a modern place so a lot of them don’t want clay floors and clay ceilings etc. 🤷🏼♂️ Lucky for you we mostly show traditional! So hurry up and come get yours!
@ashherron22118 ай бұрын
Awesome! What about parking space ?
@BradsWorld8 ай бұрын
You would get a residential parking pass. Covered parking not included for the price but not too difficult to find something around the area that you could buy.
@jlewisedwards4288 ай бұрын
Hi Brad! Maybe I missed it, but I saw a view through a screen in the video. But is there an actual view window? If you can’t see the outside well, you might as well be in any city. Also, I’m looking for a place you can lock up and go like the one in this video, but if you have a car, you would need a place to lock that up as well. Like a garage. And finally, how far and how fast can you get to an airport for international travel? Thank you for this informative “hobby” that you create for us!
@BradsWorld8 ай бұрын
It’s in the historic center so not many side windows. There were windows both in kitchen and also in upstairs master and hall bath that all faced towards mountains. Odds are always against finding a place that is super cool like this and with secure parking. But you can always find a garage to buy or rent. Just ask the agents. It’s about 90 mins by car to Fiumicino (Rome International) airport. You can always use Google maps for “Priverno” and see all the restaurants, hospitals, train stations, markets, dentists, tanning salons…. Whatever it is you want! Glad you like my hobby! It’s fun and I feel like I help a lot of people.

@Unclefire4 ай бұрын
Seems like a great deal for the money + already remodeled. I'd be surprised if you could buy something and remodel it for that kind of money. Other properties in that same town look like there near the same price or higher and would likely need a remodel as well (depending on your taste of course). The one bit of a downside is getting to this spot. On Google maps it appears to be off of a one lane "road" (alley) and walk down. I suppose it would be fine with parking nearby and use a cart for groceries etc. That cantina could be finished off as another bedroom too. What's the internet situation in a town like that? Cell internet? Starlink? EDIT: Looks like Starlink covers Italy.
@BradsWorld4 ай бұрын
I have Starlink on my grape Farm in Tuscany. I get up to 200 MB down but I max out at about 12 to 14 MB up. It’s only €40 a month and the equipment was only €230 I believe. Regular landline Internet when you’re inside of a city is pretty awesome here. Very high speed. But I’ll take living in the country with so so Internet any day!

The selling point is the basement. That looks like another apartment unit or a huge bedroom, unofficially because it is underground. Could the wall between the two tiny bedrooms upstairs be removed to make one bigger bedroom?
@BradsWorld7 ай бұрын
Yes on the wall removal. I don’t know why they did that. People get wrapped up in the bedroom count I guess. I’d would have had it be a 2/3. Don’t think a bedroom downstairs but a pool table or wine collection or big screen and wine collection! Nice and cool in Summertime!

I’ve talked about it a lot on past videos. Even put up seismic maps. Tuscany is very safe. Western umbria too. Lazio very safe. All these areas are Green the lowest risk. I don’t do videos in Abruzzo, Molise, etc. Risk too high. I lived through the big San Francisco Quake of 1989. I lived four blocks from the 880 freeway collapse at Jack London Square.
