All your videos are great! I’m new to saxaphone and in retirement I have been learning the sax now for a little over a year. I would like some general advice for improvising on a variety of music by following just the key and following the chord progressions.
@lyndenblades5 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! I’m delighted that you like them and I’ll take your suggestions on board. Have a look through some of my other tutorials for suggestions on improvising over chord progressions, I created one on Autumn Leaves, is this the sort of thing that you mean? 🤝🤝🎷🎷😎😎 How to Improvise over the Autumn Leaves on Alto Sax kzbin.info/www/bejne/g161Z35jjqp-qJI

This just made something click. 2 things I perceived as seperate, for some irrational reason, are in fact not.. not at all and it makes soo much sense. Time to experiment with my newfound understanding! You‘ve done it again, Lynden - I watched hundreds of Sax videos over the past Year and learned a lot from them but never have I had so many Eureka moments in such a short time. My teacher will be shocked once again by my progress 😬

Pretty cool stuff. Likeing the tip big time as I struggle with rhythmic changes when concentrating on the "right" notes to play. Have a hard time as they say walking at chewing gum at the same time!!
