Me and my mate roy was at this game, the only tickets we could get was for the paddock in the middle of the brugge fans, one fan banged a drum all throughout the game 😢 but we got the result in the end, and drew 1-1 away 3 weeks later to lift the cup, thank you lfc for giving us all a continuous exiting journey, long may it go on. I was in the top that memorable night, the massive sway at the point of Kennedy hitting the post then case tapping over the line was something else believe me people dropping 10 yards down in unison.

I was in the paddock for this classic, on the way home we bumped into some Brugge officials raving about what a great player Keegan was...another thing funny hearing that quick ' come on you Reds' chant again

Credit to Bruges they look to have been a match for Liverpool technically and put in a brave performance at Anfield. Didn't Standard Liege win the cup winners cup that season? A good era for the Belgian game.
