He knows what he is talking about. Although there’s a few points that I might not completely agree. There are a lot of vegetables aren’t Ketogenic friendly because they have high carbs. So ppl do need to be careful. Moreover, not all ppl will have bowel movements everyday. So, if u poo everyday to once every three days, actually u r normal. Ketogenic diet is all about good quality of fat. Ppl really should have done extensive research before going into the diet. Bone broth is also very important. I’m on Ketogenic for 10 months now. I have so much energy that I can no longer take tea/coffee because of the caffeine. Instead I make bullet proof bone broth. Remember ppl like to discard all the animal fat from the soup. Don’t do it, those fat is su much better than vegetables oil. Blend the fat and the soup together and that will satisfy your hunger and craving in an instant! I am on the keto diet for about 1 year, I have all the good benefits being on the diet, however, my cholesterol is very high. Did I do anything wrong? All others blood work are great.

Lily Sun total cholesterol isn’t that important as long as u have high HDL and low triglycerides. Ppl keep saying LDL is bad cholesterol, but I disagree with that. The more I read about LDL, the more it indicates that it is actually a transportation of cholesterol for our organs to consume. A more important thing is VLDL, the density of LDL. Please search more on the relationship between VLDL and LDL. You would be surprise how irresponsible many doctors who would just simply put ppl on statin whenever they see ppl have high total cholesterol. They don’t even look into more the ratio of HDL, LDL and VLDL.
