Meen Pollichathu", a popular Kerala-style fish dish. Meen Pollichathu is a deliciously flavorful dish where fish is marinated in a spicy mix and then wrapped in banana leaves and pan-grilled or cooked until perfectly tender.
Ingredients:
Fish - - 2 nos
Banana leaves (for wrapping)
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - to taste
Coconut oil - 2 -3 teaspoon
Onions - 2 nos
Shallots -10 nos
Green chilies - 2 nos
Tomatoes - 2 nos
Curry leaves - a sprig
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Fenugreek powder - ½ tsp
Coconut milk - Half cup
