Mild steel manifolds are good shout, less prone to cracking. Can't wait to see it operational. Please make a video detailing all the work once its finished, the suspension setup I am very envious of!

This car has already run with the previous turbo system. Als the suspension system unexplained in earlier videos

Good idea to isolate near the gearbox too, so much work but it's worth it, S124 is cool to be fast.

It would appear your engine is farther forward than mine but then again it looks like your 'crossmember' under the engine is more narrow than the 400E V8 which would allow for more room? Not sure if anyone knows this and could comment but my car looks different at that area. I used the rear transmission mount to determine my drivetrain position. Did you have to modify the driveshaft length? I am guessing you didn't. The 400E has an aluminum transmission crossmember so it's hard for me to compare. I really appreciate your fabrication and welding skills! I could certainly benefit from them. Looking forward to the next one!

Im using a oem trans mount w124 with internal parts.of the w210 mount . I placed the engine and.transmission assembly backwards until the w210 center shaft was in perfect lenght

Fantastic progress. Thanks for the update. Can't wait to see the result. What make and part number have you used to take the 8 ignition outputs to 16 outputs? Do you use I of them or 4? Thanks for the update

For ignition amplifiers oem from Bossche but i used hüco

Yep, egt's..good idea. Just make sure the tip is in the middle of the pipe.. Back pressure pre turbo (tip) also, put one the the dump pipe for turbine exit pressure (tep) only 1psi is enough to change the lambda reading 5% richer than it is.. Maybe a good idea to put an extra lambda sensor bung somewhere down stream near the back for the dyno sensor.
@JMSpeedshop11 күн бұрын
Yes will have look to put a sensor there. After the turbo . The dyno has a a system that can slide.in the exhaust in the back .
@Dave-but-why11 күн бұрын
@@JMSpeedshop yep. Most do...but with twin outlets, it always reads wrong..
@JMSpeedshop10 күн бұрын
@Dave-but-why i can close.off 1. But there is a correction factor in ecu. For this pressure. But you have to know what it is offcourse

awesome. excited. so looking forward to the dyno run with the double spring. thank you for the video update as usual. Rear mounted turbo? less heat issues and much cooler inlet temps as an option?
@JMSpeedshop11 күн бұрын
I have no room for a turbo in the back in this car . But you also have to deal with and extra intakepipe to the front . And the turbo needs lubrication. So also an installation for this is needed. There are benefit,s but also a lot that makes it less then a turbo in front

have you improved/changed how you stick the heat shielding to the manifolds?

Yes. 😃 Just tried in this afternoon . Wil show it in the next video

Dubbele gevoeligheid.
