Of course when you sell gt3 RS for 300k you can put any engine in road legal car... but when you selling m3 for 80k you cant afford that... even tho technical rules are followed.

Also the E46 M3 GTR was my favourite BMW race cars i ever liked including the BMW E30 M3 DTM which is my favourite BMW race cars as well and that's the only one reason why I love the BMW E46 M3 GTR because of motorsport and NFS series also i have that GTR E46 M3 on NFS heat i did drive the e46 m3 GTR and it was so much cool to drive it in the game. For the Need For Speed section, NFS Heat and NFS Unbound have the P60B40 engine and it does sound like it (Straight cut gears and everything)... so Idk what you are on about. You can even SWAP the P60B40 into a few other select cars.

It has ABS. In the onboard video, Hans J Stuck mentions how good the ABS is and how he can just stamp on the brake, and it never locks up. I remember a photo at the time showing the car park at BMW headquarters showing a few Strassen versions, which were driven by board members. Also they article said they were never actually offered for sale to the public, but "sold" to boardmembers. Also, the engine would never have passed emissions tests at the time😊.

Technically shallow script, lots of mispronunciations and some out of jargon wording This is either a guy who isn't into cars doing college 100 level english class levels of research, ai, or a guy who's kinda into cars and making videos but english isn't his first language If you're really into cars, this video will annoy you with its mispronunciations more than its lack of depth can make up for That being said, if this is a guy whose actually passionate about this, I hope he sees this as contructive criticism and improves going forward Learn how to pronounce things We would say "4 litre" not "four point oh litre" In depth car guys want you too go into a ton of detail about the mods to the gtr model, weight savings of body parts, aero numbers, powertrain characteristics and tech, suspension kinematics changes, etc. When you say this car pushed porsche to improve, you really need to show proof to back that up, one because its hard to believe as winning is just what porsche has always done, hard tonsee this one instance as a big deal to them, and two because if it were actually true it would be interesting to hear what resulting changes happened in their motorsports program as a result. Also you should've pointed out that porsche's regulatory pushes were merely for their benefit, not a moral argument, as they did the same thing with the 911 gt1

BMW’s BIGGEST MISTAKE was to stop development of the V8 motor and go back to I-6. Ever since they are the 2nd class citizen compared to Porsche, Mercedes and Audi R8. BMW execs had it in their hands to be on par and even beat all these brands but they choked and are now relegated to lower level cars. I own three E9X M3’s and an E36 with the BMW PTG widebody kit. BMW has lost me and several others as customers.

@@TiagoGomez-hb9te It's all about memories! This car is what introduced me to the wonderful world of motorsport. I used to play a lot on NFS9 and GTR2. It's funny how these two games don't share that much similarities, but they came out in relatively close time frame. Since I had no idea about racing games in general back then, I just grabbed whatever looks cool to me, and NFS9 and GTR2 happened to be what I played a lot. I mean, they are both exceptional in each of their own categories. And you know, in both of these games, there is the mighty BMW M3 GTR. The sound of the engine and transmission, as well as its "overpowered daily coupe car" look, was really impressing to me. Then i started to get to know the N24, the FIA GT series, and also the ALMS series because of this car. It all started there. All those memories, make BMW M3 GTR one of my favorite cars of all times.
