3:04:59 I think the part Emily is misunderstanding about why the text messages regarding news channel 4 are so sus and important to the defense is because during Matt's testimony he implied that the news crew was there specifically to harass them. But in full context (from the txt msgs) they were only in there eating and not there for a story from them. Julie says News Channel 4 is at the pizza place and then Matt responds with "Eating I assume, ask Chris to ask some questions tell them the guy never went into the house." They approached the news crew not the other way around. I believe it was because they wanted to get their narrative out there. Which is completely suspicious because it was only a day or so after John was found so why would they need to get that narrative out there if they had nothing to do with his John's death and it seems at that point nobody had even suspected any foul play from the Albert's.

This was incredibly frustrating to watch at times. It was clear that Jen McCabe was waiting to counter anything Jackson said, attempting to get ahead of him, attempting to outsmart, and it was so obvious! None of that comes off as honest, or genuine. When someone is so visibly defensive, rather than willing to hear the question and answer truthfully, you can see they're trying to control the questioning and narrative. Jen is a controlling person imo, and watching this as a "juror" at home, she is highly unlikable and not very trustworthy. Her comments about a timeline, having the facts, listening in on other people, changing up her answers repeatedly - She's a manipulator and has no credibility. Lally acts like he doesn't even want to be there. This has been bugging me, more and more. There is zero passion or enthusiasm or seeming interest whatsoever, he's just on autopilot or something. For a DA/Prosecutor who should be passionate about getting to the truth and bringing justice - He sure acts like someone who knows they shouldn't even be there. Today was something else! This is what kind of crossed my mind after Friday's testimony from Jen. The thing of Karen saying she hit him maybe was possibly started by Jen suggesting to Karen she might have hit him and asking her if she did because we haven't heard anything about her thinking or stating th at until she had been talking with Jen and Roberts.
@dunkinqueen28316 ай бұрын
I think this is exactly what happened. Karen wakes up, is worried John isn’t home, called Jen because she knows she left him at the house with them. Jen (knowing he is already dead on the lawn) tells her he never made it inside the house. Karen must have been confused and thought about what could have happened if she dropped him off and Jen never saw him. Jen then continently says something like ‘it was dark, we were drinking, the weather was bad. Do you think maybe you hit him with your car as you were pulling away so he never made it inside’. Then Karen freaks out thinking “Holy shit! I was drunk I don’t remember hitting him but could I have hit him? “ that makes the most sense to me. I think the reason its morphed into “I hit him” is because Jen and crew don’t want there to be a question about why Karen was asking if she hit him. They need her to have come up with “ I hit him!” on her own which removes their involvement from that story.

Granted this is only my 4th trial that I've watched all the way through, but it's very odd in my book. Starting with the brother of the victim (and his wife) made sense, going to the first responders next made sense, but everything after that is so odd. Where are the experts??

It’s unusual, normally the prosecution starts with the science then fills in gaps with testimony.

OMG it just gets worse and worse.. so Carrie, who you didn’t even have the phone number for the day before, you are now, the day after the death of O’Keefe, together with Carrie, to drop off her daughter at Lenk’s house, where the two of you ladies stays for 45 minutes and you used the bathroom.. 🤯 I really refused a cover up story, but Jen has got me fully believing that some kind of conspiracy and cover up is happening. But seriously.. many butt dials, deleted calls, mysterious calls answered, but not answered, going over timelines, reporting to the inner circle what to say and Carries testimony.. and that is just a little bit, of just Jen’s cross.. I’m at a loss for words.. but, will leave it with Jen’s testimony “we have the facts”, and “we just needed the police to ‘do their job’”. 😳

In Massachusetts we call Jen McCabes Fish wives. She's a perfect example. 😂

@@evilqueenyiayia Which explains why she had absolutely no problem in mentioning she was taking notes at that initial interview with Lank at the Albert house that first morning. I mean, doesn't everybody take notes when being interviewed by a cop? With your friends? To keep your stories straight?

That’s a very British saying, I see a lot of British/Irish vocab with this region as someone watching from Liverpool, England. We also have a huge Irish history ☘️

Am I missing something? Jen had to find out what Keri's phone number was to begin with no? Now Keri is sitting at their house giving a statement to the police over the phone while Jen is supposedly not listening in "the other room" I have more but I am just dumbfounded this case is even a case

She’s also comforting Kerry and not Karen . She didn’t go to the hospital with John either .

I kind of got the same vibe from her daughter. In a mini version. Very abrupt and kind of nasty. I don’t care how you feel about the defense attorney, truth is truth, say it confidently. No need to be nasty with the truth on your side.

I think she was usually the one who managed the "crisis moments", in her small world she was kind of a boss.

QQ?? If I throw a brick through your front window and a piece of it was still in place, would you say I cracked it or broke it? I was not looking at the ground, but I saw tracks in the snow.
