As someone who has Crohn’s disease, I’m so mortified for Karen regardless of whatever anybody thinks she is guilty of. This disease is embarrassing as hell and normal humans can’t fathom having this kind of illness where you never know if you’re going to essentially have an accident in your pants anywhere you go. For Proctor to make fun of her disease and her body functions is disgraceful. We as disabled people already deal with so much judgement and fear from normal society. Here’s a law enforcement agent treating a chronically ill person like a joke. I pray him or his family never gets a disease like this.

Undisputed his comments were off the chart unprofessional, rude, juvenile etc…. But the REAL issue - He had closed the case and formed his opinion by 1/29/22, when the first texts were sent to his friends. He did NOT investigate ANYBODY but Karen Read. Based on casual questioning of the other involved parties- ALL of whom he had a personal relationship/connection too. WHY did he hate Karen by the evening of 1/29? He had been fed an earful of personal information by the other “suspects”. How else did he know about her health issues? He literally had to have been told that by big mouth Jen McCabe. Additionally, Ms. mcLaughlin basically contends she does not understand the experts, which frankly is a common wealth problem. Let us not forget that the inverted video ADA Lally used to mislead the jury, by not disclosing it was inverted, was gotten about 2 weeks ago and NOT given to the defense at all. I noticed how red Proctors ears got when Jackson was cross examining him. Whether you think Karen is guilty or not, you have to admit Jackson was making extremely good points. I don't care if you think Proctors texts were jokes or not. They were severly crossing the line and showed that he wasn't unbiased and objective. I would be surprised if he still has a job after Jackson is done with him. If this is how lead investigators are allowed to talk about the person they are investigating, then I question all of the cases they investigated. The lead investigator sets the tone for the case, and Proctor is setting a horrible one.

I excused myself from the table and walked home and never spoke to him again. In my 20's I dated a "Christian" Navy SEAL (sniper), against my better judgement, and the abuse - physical and emotional - the controlling behavior, entrapment, and DISTURBINGLY SICK things I discovered he AND HIS ENTIRE SEAL TEAM did with underage girls (& photographed) on each and every deployment was APPALLING. He stole nearly all my belongings, all my money, kicked me out on the curb with nothing except the clothes on my back & threatened to kill me, or have one of his team do it, if I ever reported him, because they were trained killers and were good at making people disappear. He said my family would never find me. I've never looked at cops or military the same way again.

Absolutely agree. I know of some good LE, but the appeal of power and brotherhood and authority can really lead to some thinking they know everything. I have relatives who presented as this before they were military or LE and it only got worse after, with the vocab especially! The trial I was a juror for was basically only a trial because an officer added his own understanding or language to a stay away order and days after arrested the defendant. After all the argument from both sides, we just wanted to see the document to see the specific language of it, which didn't specify distance at all. So we decided the defendant did her best to stay away from the other individual at an outdoor public event, where they couldn't Even see each other, or was this person telling that person they were there. So if that officer had said, hmm, let me see the order, yeah, doesn't specify distance -problem with the order so it's up to whomever what "stay away" means. (My favorite part was when the prosecutor in his closing arguments, slipped and Said defendant stayed away. Like yeah, she did stay away. Thanks for confirming what the evidence showed!). But instead he listened to what one person said the order said, or has his own ideas and stuck with that.

I just replayed the text about “she leaks poo”. It sounds like someone got up quickly and angrily and left. I didn’t hear it the first time because I was swearing out loud. I cannot say enough vile disgusting things about this sorry excuse for a man.
