There’s a lot of things I would love to say, to Mac, his family, friends and team, but I know they probably will never read it. If they do I just wish to say this. Thank you. Thank you for continuing to keeping his music and his dreams alive. In a way he is still with us. I know it must be hard, shit, it’s hard for us his fans and most of us never knew him personally. Two or three months ago I had this urgent need to listen to mac miller non stop. It got so far and i dug so deep that I watched every music video, many interviews and every available documentary. Mac has meant a lot to me throughout life, I still remember listening to him for the first time when I was a kid and instantly he became one of my favourite artists. As I got older I realised how alone you can feel and how tough life gets and his music was always there to pick me back up. His death was one of the most upsetting times in my life and I’m sure millions of others, but his legacy lives on forever, I’m so grateful for what Mac music’s did to help me. We love you Mac🙏

How can these few minutes feel like I just spent a lifetime with this man, make me smiling and so happy in my soul, and also breaking my heart into obvlivion and making me so deeply sad that I don't think I will ever fully recover from how soon this talented vibrant Earth angel starseed of a soul was taken from this world. We needed him in it. I know he is still here in some form, and thank GOD his beautiful little hard working Capricorn Stellium ass STAYED grinding on making insane amounts of material...most of it unreleased...AND always staying up on You Tube with sooo many videos, doing heartfelt down to earth interviews, making hilarious vines and snaps and being cool with having homies with cameras rolling so that now we have so many ways to connect with his energy and keep it going. I still cry though. It's messed up that I found him and his music (or did it find me?) Just around the time he died when Swimming came out...Within the past 2 years his music and his whole Mac vibes took over my heart and slid into the favorite musical artist of all time spot for me personally. I get that it's not that way for everyone but damn do I want to kind of tie up some friends and make them listen to the Mac evolution jour ey, watch interviews and fall in love with him too. I'm SO freaking grateful my husband kind of fell in with me and digs Mac too. That could be a deal breaker tbh ... lol... 🤣 Nov will be 20 years together and I wish Mac had been able to have that kind of lasting and STABLE, trustworthy, safe place love to help him fully heal himself. I truly think he was in a better place making these last 2 albums...the darkness and pain was still there but I think he was really integrating his shadow and beginning to nurture the more positive and healing methods of coping and surviving. The pain in knowing the potential he had to keep going and keep making more magic in the world, including a family...I use that to remind myself how amazing life really is, even when it's not perfect, to truly try to count my blessings and be present, even though I fall short at times. There is so much profound depth to the way he explored both his darkness and his light, as well as multiple belief systems and frankly different dimensions...and bared his heart, soul and even the dark and delusional aspects of ALL of who he was to share it with the world...playing several instruments, self taught, rapping and finding insane new bars and word play day in and day out....a poet, a philosopher, a messenger, a beacon...a reminder... God bless your incredible soul Mac Miller, I will never stop sending you so much LOVE. I was born in Hawaii before moving back to the east coast as a young’n so I don’t really remember much besides familiar sights like in this video. 2017 was my senior year of high school and the start of college but I dropped out after about a month and half because (among other reasons) my father died. That was the most lost and alone I ever felt in my life. All of this and more slowly brought me to music and especially Mac Miller. I was lucky enough to become a huge fan of his in the final year of his life when he made this album in of all places, my homeland. We’re all riders of the circle.
