Put Professor z do you still have so many questions like 1. Are the mechanical parts supposed to repress obot's original abilities 2. Is the star compass supposed to be like a lure 3. Is what the Miko holding a white whistle who's life subscription expired when was unable to renew it in time 4. Is clan of thieves a mistranslation and it means tribe of thieves Riko clan, Lysa clan, Bondrwd clan, Sarojo clan, Wakuna clan, Ozen clan... All these questions and more will neverever be answered on the next chapter of Made in Abyss Into the Deep

I really love this series because it may never truly answer many of its own questions. It leaves so much room for theories and speculation. I do hope to tackle some more of these questions in the future though. The topic of relics specificly is one I'm looking to discuss soon.

You are right there are definitely some ambush predators that are at the top of their respective food chains (If we ignore the existence of humans). But I had brought up the topic in the video since that's not always the case. The fact that it's mentioned in the chapter at all leads me to believe that the story is setting up for something a lot bigger than the creature seen in these chapters.
