The funny thing is that quite a bit of people don't realise that doom guy could very easily go through the hordes of demons with his bare hands, he himself is so bloody strong he could endure huge amounts of energy. The suit is basically just a fashion thing because doom guy is just this strong to not need it, but even if he wasn't his suit is stated to be indestructible. Also i think in the dlc he is killing a literal maker of the universe, a guy who created hell and all the most powerful demons. Just a fun piece of doom lore

Eternal is better in almost every way. The only negative points I have are the platforming grinding the pace to a halt and the Marauder’s shield also interrupting combat flow by forcing you to sit still and wait for him to flash green.

Don't know, if it's gonna be helpfull, but here's a tip for ammo: your last chainsaw charge always refills so that you could kill small enemies for ammo any time you need it

Marauders aren't terrible on their own. It's when they are paired with other superheavy enemies when they become a problem, because focusing on one will give the others a good chance to hit you.

I think her main issue with platforming is more due to the lack of camera control. I've noticed in these videos a lot that she will move her character around far more often, than to rotate her camera. More camera control would probably improve a lot of things. Glad she enjoyed it thou. 2016 is still the better of the two. You going to let her play the DLC

As a quick tip, you can remap the melee button in the options menu. In all fairness, I have no idea why the right stick is the default button. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if some casual gamers didn't even know the 2 analog sticks can also function as buttons
