I have been drunk before and taken home by the police, but to then hitch a ride with the sanitation department in the same night that was next level for me. Idk how I found this channel but it’s great. The host and guest are great love how honest they are.

Amazing new podcast. I'm older so I view y'all as my daughters/nieces. I'm enough of a dinosaur to remember actual Stonewall, and Ellen's shocking "I'm Gay" cover story, and the endless fight for lesbigay marriage. To see you young ladies now take that ball and run with it .... radiating being healthy and happy. And connecting through engaging convos that you share with us. 😍🤗 warms my lil ol heart. New viewer and supporter, will keep watching.

@xaniiu5 ай бұрын
Been out since 96. I always try to tell people that I had a great group of gay friends and we were all out and hung tough almost daily. Gays, lesbians, trans, didn’t matter and no one wanted to be singled out or special. Yeah some family didn’t like it but they got over it. I’m sure some people had it tougher but baby there were plenty of gay people out and about 10 gay/lesbian bars in my mid sized Ohio city back then. It was so much better when things were for us and not “for everybody”. No cell phones, dance battles, fights, drama, house parties, club functions, more drama, love and everything in between. Yall missed out.

I'm so happy to hear their stories growing up and noticing the butches and feeling different. I 100% feel the same way - still do. I'm gay but I'm feminine and I also like feminine women. It's so nice to see all sorts of different looking gay women, not just butches. It can be tough because we get overlooked cuz we naturally blend in. Or, no one believes we're gay cuz we look feminine. Butches straight up told me in a lesbian club "are you lost?" when I was in my early 20s.

I couldn't agree more. I have never understood that phenomenon. If I wanted to be with someone that looked and acted like a man, I would be with a man.

Randomly came across this while searching other lesbian content 😂 You are both hysterical. I wish there was talk like this when I was growing up. Would have helped a lot. I’m 46 now and definitely hid in HS. Back then, I only knew of 1 guy who was out. Completely in sync with knowing I felt different but did the dating guys thing anyway. Thank you ladies for throwing all this out there!

I know this comment may be unpopular with some people, but if this makes you mad at me it should make you mad at Jordin (not that I want to throw her under the bus, I DON'T), because I absolutely loved her comments about not being attracted to or interested in butch lesbians. I have never understood that phenomenon myself, so it was nice to hear someone else make the point and do so publicly. Thank you both.
@abeillle806 ай бұрын
It's one thing not to be attracted to or interested in butch women (yes, there is a term for it, and from my experience, most butch Lesbians I met would NOT want to be labelled as "male looking". Being butch or stud is almost an identity and subculture of its own). Everybody has their (sometimes inexplicable) preferences and that's valid. BUT: what really didn't go down well with me was the very derogatory tone, attitude and choice of words Jordin had when describing those girls. I mean... "tragic outfit", seriously? It's not your style, it's not the style you like, that's okay, but who are you to judge? Everybody is unique, everybody has their own style and beauty ideal, so just show a little more respect and tolerance.

this is my favorite podcast lol. I'm not sure why but I totalllly appreciate it. My biggest thing was when jordin was talking about her first girlfriend, and she referred to her gf as their pronouns which was so incredible to hear. I kept wondering if it was 2 female partners and then i realized it was 1 but exactly what their pronouns are. very very cool and i love that shes so easy off the communication with it.. and my mind is so blown with the "receiving the strap" and "using the strap". personally i've never used the strap so that will be an exciting sexual endeavor... till next partner :D

Honestly, I find a first kiss way more intimidating and like "am I doing this right?" Both first kises with my past partners are honestly kind of a joke, a lil embarrassing looking back, lol. once things get physical though, I'm pretty comfortable. Well, I still have things to lean & experience & improve upon, but I've never been intimidated or unsure about how to be with a woman.
