oh my god this brings up such good memories….my best friend and me went there spontaniously to see them one lasttime...was such a chaos to get there..we almost missed our flight from Germany :D we are both in our 20ies and saw the Pretty Things for the very first time in 2016 i think, at a german krautrock Festival. from then we went to lots of Shows and fell in love with them and their Music … was so hard to say goodbye to such a great band on that evening…. good good memories...i miss them a lot and seeing them live ! she said good morning is one of our favourite Songs as well...and seeing them performaning with david Gilmour omg.....that was mindblowing

Dave Gilmour playing his 50's gold top Les Paul about 6 months before he auctioned off his historic mega guitar collection . He recently showed up playing a couple numbers on Fender lap steel at the Peter Green all star tribute show in London..

OK. I have great respect for the Pretty Things, and I only got to see them a few times in the late 80s and early 90s when I emigrated to London. I have all their DVDs including all their Rockpalast performances plus various others. I must admit that the music of this promo, and especially the vocals sounds better than expected. However, my only gripe is that the Pretty Things virtually completely ignore what I personally consider to be their glory era (Early 70s era FReeway Madness, Singapore Silk Torpedo and Savage Eye). Those 3 albums have all been greatly ignored over the last 40-45 years with only 'Havana Bound from Freeway Madness getting a mention in latter day sets. Songs like Love is Good, Singapore Silk Torpedo, Drowned Man, Remember that Boy, It isn't Rock n Roll, Bridge of God plus many more would be a total breath of fresh air. THe actual solo from THIS video was very reminiscent to the solo of Love is Good. I know SF Sorrow and the early RnB days were their popular days, but it was the 70s albums that got them the interest fromLed Zeppelins management and a deal with Swan SOng Label. Maybe also they don't play the early-mid 70s stuffbecause Dick Taylor didn't feature on them.
