Why okkiyam Thoraipakkam is marked between karapakam and shollinganallur.. it's confusing Ideally it should be between Thoraipakkam and mettukuppam

Its 14.2 kms. The intention is to ensure no one walks more than 500 meters (either side from main road) distance to reach a station. People has to walk on inward roads too. If you keep the distance more, then more vehicles (cars, autos, two wheelers etc) will run to have last mile connectivity to home. The train will stop only 30 seconds in one stop. Lots of thought process is involved before deciding it. Many foreign country running Metros were analyzed and Best practices are followed. Dont just like that blame it.
