@@nickydee719 Well her friends want her to either abort or more likely "give it up" for adoption. Her dad is just pissed she had sex, and since they're (implied) Catholic, I doubt he wants abortion. @Jungle Bunny Yes, most of her biggest pop hits were released in the 80s and, as I said, she would still have a great legacy based solely on that. Maybe you lost interest in the '90s, but it's what she did during those years, from "Vogue" to Blond Ambition to "Justify My Love" and Erotica to Ray of Light, that made her a groundbreaking revolutionary and icon. She's a beloved artist because of what she achieved collectively across both of those decades and I don't need to take a look at your channel to know that.

Hey Dandy and Handsy. I love these Madonna reaction videos you guys are doing. I like that you are learning more about the Material girl through rediscovering her early years. I also love how you are trying to understand the songs as you watch them. This video was a commentary on the surge of teen pregnancies that started in the mid-to-late 80s. Parents were kicking their teenage daughters out because they got pregnant. Danny Aiello was a popular actor at the time who played Madonna's character's dad in this video. This video was quite controversial for the time period in which it was made. And you can see now why Gigi Goode was praised for her Madonna performance. I recommend you guys check out "Lucky Star" for your next reaction video. This was her first ever music video and also the look that Jan was emulating on RPDR. Papa Don't Preach (1986) from the Album True Blue. And yes, the baby is a child is not the guy from the video. When she mentioned that she wants to keep her baby is because she didn't want to abort. If only they paid closer attention... True Blue was Madonna's biggest album of the 1980's. It became the first of her two Diamond selling albums. The first remix/greatest hits album of its kind, The Immaculate Collection is her best selling album to date with over 31 million copies sold and remains the best selling compilation album. Back to True Blue. Papa Don't Preach, Open Your Heart, and Live To Tell were such great #1 hit singles along with the #4 hit, La Isla Bonita. The rest of the album is pretty of its time, but the hit singles remain evergreen. Also, they should shorten or change the outro. Matter of fact, the channel seems to have outgrown it altogether.
