This skid was base on a real life event at the post office in Edmond, Oklahoma. A man name Patrick Henry Sherrill (a ex-employee of the postal services)who in 1986 killed 14 employees and wounded 6 then killed himself. It was the third worst single-gunman mass murder in U.S. history at the time. This event inspired the American slang "Going postal." The postal services is the 3rd most violent work place, homicide in the world at 1.48 per 100,000.
