I just ordered 4 more of the wax melts and an air freshener. I love the Floridian scent so much! If I can’t leave my house right now, it can at least smell like Disney! These are my favorite brand of wax melts by far.

As someone who also got perms back in the 80's - would love to see a photo Pete! The perm solution scent is very distinctive- I think I'll pass on that candle....

I purchased the Castaway Cruise candle a couple of weeks ago. It's the first I purchased in anticipation of our upcoming cruise. I'm not sure it would remind me of the ocean at all, but I do like it, and it does a good job of providing scent throughout the downstairs rooms. It has a bit of a soapy smell. I agree that I'm not sure I like that it leaves a lot of wax around the edges, but we'll see how it does as I continue to use it.

When Pete says the air fresheners are strong he’s not kidding. I bought some of the air fresheners to try out some of the scents. The first one we opened was Polynesian and I put it in my car. For the first few days it was knock you over strong, like, hurts my nose I need to roll down the window for a breath of fresh air strong. But after a few days it mellowed out and I like it much better. The next one I’m opening is Contemporary and I can’t wait to smell it!!

Love to hear these reviews; it's so hard to tell a candle from just a name and description. LOL... IT's good Pete pointed out you can't burn candles on a cruise ship. You'd get in lots of trouble for that. I wish I had an air freshener when we stayed at All Star Sports. Our room there smelled of horrible clorox/cleaning products to the point of giving me a headache.

Very Vero is totally my fave! And I know that Pete isn’t a fan of the wax melts, but the VV wax melt seemed to last longer than the others I’ve tried.

Orleans is my favorite it reminds me of the lobby of French Quarter resort, my favorite resort. It's much more potent when not burning when lit it gives off a nice fresh clean subtle scent.

Beware of MCC before purchasing. I believe that they are either deliberately or unintentionally suppressing negative feedback . Based on the customer reviews (all 5 stars), I bought the Contemporary scent 14oz candle. My ordering and delivery experience were great, but I wasn't happy with the potency of the scent and didnt feel the candle was a good value. I wrote and submitted a two star rating on their website, received confirmation of receipt, and it was never published. Check out their BBB page, this happened to someone else.

I agree! I’ve ordered from them and though the smell is incredible it’s so light smelling on the candles!!! The oil Had a stronger ! But one of the oils for spills over and my order The air freshener smoke pretty good I would say the smells incredible but they’re not strong enough to justify the price!

But getting back to your point there’s no way that other people weren’t disappointed when they lit the candle and had no throw! Where are the bad reviews ?

I do wish they would make car fresheners for all the scents. It's a relatively "cheap" way to see what things smell like prior to spending a larger amount on the candles only discover you don't like it.

The two scents we bought (Poly and Pirates) were meh. Service over last Christmas (2018) was awful. Bought 2 weeks ahead of Christmas, paid priority shipping. No way to call them. No response to multiple emails (only auto responses). Candles came mid January. No acknowledgement from them that they missed the mark. No refund of priority shipping. Never again. Beware if you need for holiday gifts.

If your looking for a tropical scent try Tiki Terrace. I like it better than Poly. Pirates I like because it actually smells like a yankee candle they stopped making. It had something to do with a bay or ocean breeze? But it was just a good light clean fresh scent. And that’s what pirate life smells like to me. I’ve liked many of their scents sorry to hear they’ve just been ok for you. If you like flowery you can’t go wrong with flying over India, and if you want more musky or manly Walt’s office smells like leather and tobacco. At first I didn’t like it so I gave the air freshener to a co worker, he hung it up by his computer. The scent has really grown on me. I walk past in the morning and take a big whiff. Another for that type would be Mine Train. It smells like wood and spice and a little sweet too. It’s a great scent.

Pinocchio's Village is the best candle they have, it is simply in amazing. I can't even describe it you have to try it out.

Love the DIS ! Keep up the good work ! Cast away cruise smells like sunscreen and summer. It’s a very good scent ! Orleans smells like a clean cotton candle it’s clean and fresh. It’s ok but not as AWESOME as their other scents. Polynesian smells very good it’s smells a little like lemons and tropical plants. I like Tiki Terrace a little better it has a slight coconut scent with the tropical scent. Both are great scents. Haunted holiday smells like dust and vanilla so I guess that’s what a haunted mansion at Christmas smells like? Flying over India is an AMAZING candle it smells like flowers, they say roses but it doesn’t smell like a rose candle. It just smells like fresh flowers in bloom ! I think it smells a little different than the ride but if you like that part of the ride you should like that candle. I never ordered the flying over Africa scent. The ride to me has the scent of dirt the elephants throw up and fresh cut grass. Not a bad scent, it’s great on the ride. It makes you feel like your there! But was never interested in that as a candle. Although I bet it would smell great in the winter, it probably would take me right back to a summer day ?! Very Vero is AWESOME is smells slightly like oranges and summer but different than Cast away cruise. And MUCH better than flying over orange groves that one smells like fake orange! I don’t get that with Very Vero. It’s hard to get a bad sent from this company! I try it in the air freshener first because that’s the cheapest. France smells like creme brûlée ! It’s AWESOME ! It’s NOT too sweet of a smell, it just smells delicious. I used the oil on top of my cabinets and the whole kitchen smells Wonderful ! Good Luck finding your favorites!

They burn incredibly inconsistently and don’t finish burning cleanly. Bought Poly, Contemporary and Main Street bakery.

"All the reviews say it smells fresh & clean, and they all say it smells exactly like French Quarter" BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA - "fresh & clean" are the absolute LAST words I would use to describe the smell of the French Quarter. More like wet streets and drunk people.
