I love the transparency that Magic Ears lets us actually SEE an Interview beforehand!

This is an example of an interviewer that is supportive, and wants her interviewee to succeed. This was absolutely not my experience 😐 When I reached out to speak about this, my email went unanswered. I’m an experienced teacher with credentials and tons of passion for teaching. If you don’t get a good interviewer, you won’t get hired. Luck of the draw I guess.

Do they let you know ahead of time what the lesson is about and do you have access to practice it? I'm not in the teaching field so I would need to buy props but I need to know what the lesson is in order to do so. I'm currently a student and interning full-time so this would be such a fun way to make some extra income! The youtube channel has been very helpful!

It looks like there are 13 trophies to give out. How many trophies are you supposed to give out in a 25 minute class? Compared to VIPkid where you are expected to give all five stars because they collect them like coins. I'm afraid I'd forget to give out all of those trophies.

Hi, would I need to buy props for teaching? Can they be licensed characters, like Mario and Luigi figures? Thanks

We do require props that are relevant to the lesson. They can be digital, homemade, licensed or not, whatever you choose. Out requirement is that they illustrate the lesson being taught.
