Are we able to book any other time slots besides the peak time slots in your video? Like for example can we open bookings for 1 PM-6:30 PM BJT on weekdays and 10:30 am-12:30 pm on weekends?

"Once your 24 hour email is given to you and confirmed, you won't be able to book any open slots." You lost me at this statement. I'm currently a new ME teacher and although there is a wealth of information on everything else, I can't seem to find any detailed info on bookings. As a brand new teacher, I know I'm not eligible for standbys yet, so what happens to the open slot if not booked in time? Also, if you don't open enough slots (for the week, the month, certain days...etc.), does that affect your booking rate? For example, if I book 4 classes this week and I book only two classes next week, will that affect my chances of getting booked?

Unfortunately, I'm still waiting to be paid for last month...and no one will really help me. It's super frustrating. Do you know how long bank transfers usually take? I've been working so much and i'm scared i'll never get paid😩

You will definitely get paid for your classes. Please contact your coach and inquire. The team was out of the office for a week right around pay time so it doesn't hurt to reach out again. They will take care of you!

Our bookings are high right now! Teachers book sooner after being hired with us than with other companies, typically!

I'm not sure if you've already received an answer to your question, but I've been teaching ESL online now for almost a year, and I 100% recommend getting an account with TransferWise. Their fees are AMAZING compared to any other bank, including PayPal! I live in Canada and was paying upwards of $50 in fees each month just to receive my paycheck. With TransferWise, I pay approximately $3 each month in fees to receive my pay. I hope this helps!

DO NOT APPLY TO Magic Ears. They engage in age prejudice. I did a great job giving my 8 minute interview, which I prepared hours for. They had encouraged me saying I would be a perfect fit. For the interview I had several fun props and was very playful and energetic for the entire 8 minutes. The interviewer told me the next step would be the trial 25 minute class, and I would be taught how to use the platform better. Oh, but the next day I was told I didn't pass. IMPOSSIBLE. I practiced their demo video over and over and did virtually all the same things. I'm 70 -- That's the problem.
