If your Magic Mat starts to warp/bow, you can put a heat gun to it to straighten it back out. Thanks for your review. 👍

It will warp some especially if you use it in your Gemini, however you just have to use your heat gun to make it pliable, I then set it under something flat overnight and it’s good, scrapbook.com has a video how to use the heat gun

I actually just watched a video on this magic matt and they do warp. One of them was pretty bad but the way you fix it is to take your heat gun and go over the mat and that will make it flat again.😊

What about using two and adding shims if needed? Then forget the warped ones

The mat will Warp but I heard that when it does you need to heat up with the embossing heat gun and it will make it flat again

Mine did also warp while trying (1st day) to figure it out. "I followed the sandwich" for the Big Shot and still warped so I gave up on it for now. I did watch the video where the demonstrator used the heating tool as you mentioned, to get it back in shape. I haven't tried it yet, I will have to do that and I haven't tried it on my Gemini yet. We shall see. I bought two mats (Standard size) just in case.

Turn your dies to a corner entering and it will really help with warping. Can this matt be used with any diecutting machine?

Erica what is the cardstock weight you used? I am not having much luck with my mat. A lot of hit and miss with cutting. I even used a new cutting plate and put the die in at an angle. I am thinking my cardstock is too heavy or my machine is wearing out. Thank you.

Not meaning to butt in Erica and Jacqueline but I watched a KZbin video the other day and they was having trouble with the mat too so they used a shim plate as well under the magic mat. So I got one from Amazon already in case I have the same trouble.💕

Did you keep your Gemini Jr? If yes will one of these mats work on it? I’m also getting the Spellbinder Platinum machine I need a large die cutting machine do I assume this will work on it also?
