The flight deck is magical: the views we live for, the sunsets we crave; our office in the sky, sharing the sky with others. This is our job in incredible moments, brought to you in 4K. Although video cannot truly replicate the exhilarating feeling of rushing down a runway or flying past an A330 just 1000ft below you, this compilation of moments captured during my latest 2 years at work as a First Officer is probably as close as it gets.

@@greatflyer_aviation In Poland, you can get your pilot's license for free by attending a flight school. What's different is to get there, because there are a lot of applicants for a place :P As for simulators, I'm wondering how far you can go when it comes to realism. In Deblin they have a vr google to simulate parachute jumping for around $6k, which i bet its something more than just regular vr setup. Maybe in the future, it will be possible to recreate the feeling of touch, switches, knobs, using special gloves, which would make it possible, for example, to replace building an expensive cockpit for a simulator, and a special suit would make it possible to replicate, at least partially, the feeling of flying an airplane. And the graphics in simulators, is already at a very high level, sometimes I have to wonder whether I am watching a video from a simulator or a real flight. For a cheapest fligth license cost i bet i can build setup to atleast let me enjoy great graphics, buy a mid-range vr google and to that a decent joystick, throttle. For $100,000, I can only imagine how much advanced equipment I could buy, graphic mods, and probably further would not be enough to achieve the true realism that can be achieved in simulation.
