He might have gotten MRCC with his plat travel for free and that's a possibility because amex does offer it sometimes. So as long as you're paying for plat travel, your MRCC will be free.

Great video. With Amex MRCC card, the Rs.1500 4 times spend for 1000 bonus points, can we spend this 1500 on anything including fuel, insurance and utilities? Or do they have restrictions? Similarly monthly Rs.20000 gives another 1000 bonus points, again for this spend, is there any category restriction?

For spends above 25 lakh per anum magnus burgundy is undoubtedly the best card. But if your spends are on utility,government,wallet then you can go atlas or idfc first wealth

Overall Reward rate is better in atlas unless you are able to max out the 5x reward on infinia each month. I would keep infinia and get atlas too

I am a little shocked why no one mention air india sbi signature card which has 4% rewards on insurance, welcome 20,000 plus milestone on reaching 5L, 10L and 20L. The only drawback is its limited to air india but i find it to be the most rewarding card at present for insurance payments

Not really. Amex gold charge card gives 5x on amazon pay vouchers. Buy that and pay insurance

Atlas gives on 15 lakhs spend. You can spend anywhere. Infinia 5x is at specific places with a cap

@@dugarniraj Visa or Mastercard. Basically it will be used when AMEX is not accepted or meaningful annual spend is exhausted. Probably the annual spend will be 4-6L. I'm specifically interested in discounts, dining and hotel (marriott), domestic flight (I use like twice a year with family) benefits. Movies, lounge, golf are not a concern. Domestic use only. I guess I said a lot :) Airport meet concierge will be good to have. I can take a paid card as long as it gives me benefits to cover its cost annually.

@@ShantanuRoy233 ya, Atlas gives 5% miles on hotels/flights and as you transfer them 1:2 ratio. It’s 10% in this case. Also, if you transfer them to ITC and then redeem for ITH vouchers (Physical). You can use ITH vouchers for flight booking and cab rentals. I tried this in Hyd. It works well. VFM.
