You can go to almost any prize tournament where ordinary titled players play (not only the top GM) and you can see in almost all of these tournaments, if not in all, there are clear cheating problems. In prize events with "mediocre" titled players this is classic and Kramnik is completely right about it. I come right now from the actual titled tuesday tournament and i have seen very weird stuff there (and players that had cheating scandals in the past playing the titled tuesday (not very well known)). Kramnik was clearly wrong with Nakamura, but there is a huge problem with cheating in chess, specially now that computers destroy humans at chess. In the past it was an issue but today is a plague since anyone can cheat with AI (even with human style of play)
