Magvent Dryer Vent unboxing, installation, and review. Cool new product installed and tested!

After having our drier vent hose slip off multiple times (the vibrations from the spin cycle on these stacked units apparently works it loose) I was really frustrated. I could barely fit my hand behind our drier the way our room was laid out, and I just knew there had to be a better way to connect the drier to the vent. After searching, I found this product. It is apparently sold at some lowes and home depot stores, but I decided just to purchase it via mail order direct from the manufacturer.

I purchased the MV-90 "kit" which is what is reviewed in this video. Its $68 which makes it about 7 times more costly than a simple right angle connector and hose clamp at your home improvement store. Is it worth it? The answer will probably depend on whether or not you've had problems keeping your vent attached, and how easy it is to access the back of your drier. For me, the answer is definitely! As of this writing, I've had it on about a month and have had zero issues.

Had it back out once since I installed it, was clean and went back together just as easy. Still working well and it’s been in around a year now.

Good job. I'm lucky to have my dryer next to the outside wall, so very short connection and this new system will make it easy to disconnect dryer for cleaning. BTW, as a woman, l like the way you covered the storage shelving with a curtain. Bathroom looks fantastic.

I remodeled this room myself. My wife came home and said “are you sure you’re still straight?” Lol
