Congrats on getting Johnny Crash on the road. There's nothing like bringing a machine back from the dead and enjoying the fruits of your labour. You might want to consider some mid-controls. Most people under 5'9" find the reach to forwards a bit much. You can bolt on highway pegs, if you want to stretch out too. Enjoy that ride!
@ronaldthomas93962 жыл бұрын
I prefer mid controls as they are much easier on the back and reduce or eliminate pain!
@RedRiderCanadaBC2 жыл бұрын
Mids are nice, I might go with floor boards though. 🤔
@merlin05262 жыл бұрын
I like floor boards, they’re a nice compromise between mids and forward controls.

Well done Red to you and your Dad for all the hard work you put in getting Johnny ready for the road. I love my Sporty but have always aspired to owning a Dyna , problem is Harleys , even used, are so expensive here in the UK so guess I'll just have to get my Dyna kicks vicariously , watching you on yours which is fine cos your obvious enjoyment while riding is so infectious. Looking forward to many more rides out on Mr. Crash and you were so right, a hot drink is never so good as at the end of a ride on a cold day

Great to see you on the road. I feel the same about the cold riding. People always ask "aren't you cold?" I answer that being cold lets you know you're alive, I slow down or stop and instantly warm up. Shorten up those controls. Now that Johnny's on the road, time to make everything fit you, you'll enjoy every moment even more. In the interim, maybe pops can fab up a quick pedal block for the rear brake till the lever mod gets completed. I also like running boards for having more room for my feet, but I'm on a ST Dlx. Have fun, I'm jealous of the scenery up there.

I was having a crappy day, got sent home from work, no real work to do(I'm feeling in my spirit that i may be laid off from my job) and I watched your video while I went home, about 30 min drive each way, and your VIDEO CHEERED me up!!! I love seeing and hearing real passion for your motorcycle, because I'm 39 like 2x your age and I am just as gitty and passionate about my sporty, I'd love the opportunity to work on bike wth a Dad like Bill, I grew up without an old man to show Me, so I'm showing my kids everything I can while I'm here and your dad is a great example as far as I can tell and I appreciate the love u guys brought to my thing. Love u guys God bless! LOVE THE DYNA!!!!

I should of watched this video at 7 pm instead of 3pm. Don't read me wrong, Red Rider has taken an intriguing run on the Dyno on a cloudy late afternoon, and now that its back in the garage, and after she says farewell, I expected the dusk to have fallen outside. My marvel at a bright sunny afternoon. That is how happily entranced I am.
