Sara, an IT professional & Stephen a graphic designer and artist are world-traveling Canadians who dreamt of moving to Europe, and France in particular. In 2020 they were working from home when Stephen turned to Sara and popped the question she was longing to hear, “What would have to be true for us to buy a chateau in France?” They searched online for months viewing hundreds of properties. They narrowed their search and toured some properties when they happened upon the one that captured our hearts, Château de Saint-Germain-des-Prés. A year later they made the move to France to start their new adventure in our beautiful Château. They created “Manor and Maker” to reflect the two sides of their adventure. One, to live as chateau owners with all the ups and downs and two, to pursue their passions as makers, creating art in all its forms. Fun tool and projects! I’m glad it has the built-in eye protection too. ♥️ My dad worked with early lasers and had to wear sunglasses and a brimmed hat for the rest of his life to protect damaged eyes. If you built a stand for it with wheels on the bottom, you could wheel it closer to a window, and into a closet when not in use. Could put storage under the wheeled base to hold project wood, accessories, etc.

So fun! I use a lot of cut out wooden pieces in my crafting. If you are going to paint them I recommend a light coat of sealer first. It gives a smoother, finished look.

💕You will need a designated craft room for all of these cutting/laser machines💕Maybe next to your art studio in the barn💕If you put each one on a table/work bench you’ll be able to start your projects without having to get them out each time💕Plus you can store all materials for these projects out there as well💕

Hi Steve! Thanks for this interesting video! I hope that you are feeling better. Maybe you could get a metal cart with wheels to keep your equipment on. They may have something to use in a shop that sells tools or office equipment. (or amazon) Then you could wheel it out and conveniently use it. I have used a metal cat from harbor freight to house some of my cool tools . (crafting) I bet that you will make some awesome stuff with this! Please have a good weekend!

In watching the video and then you introduced your shadow box, I was taken by surprise. I was not expecting that. What a creative mind you have! I hope you decide to sell those, because that would definitely be a money-maker for you. The cheese boards with the upright labels are a super idea, too.
