‘24 Model 3 LR AWD owner here. My wife & I are empty nesters, so don’t need the extra space of the X (or Y for that matter). If the 3 was a hatchback like the S, it would be perfect, but I still love it as-is.

maybe they should abandon X for a true full size SUV or van. the current sizes of the Y and X make it impossible for a family of 6 to road trip because there is not enough room to fit everyone with suitcases/bags. it's nice to say there's seating for 6 or 7, but the functionality is not there.

I saw a Tesla model y refresh slightly uncovered. The facial is like the model s now. The headlights are like the model 3 highland. The rear definitely has a light bar. The tail light is exactly like the Tesla model 3 highland.

Problem I have after using FSD for 3+ years and now using version 13 I won't buy a car without self driving software. v13 is that good and will only improve in 2025. I think we're going to see this a lot more as people use v13.

Love my X, still getting used to it being a little bigger than I am used to so turns and parking are I am bit slower at. The Y was a little too cramped for me and really like the X interior. If they make it a lot more luxury that would be nice! Same overall vids next year, but don't mislead with the thumbnail or title, I think that hurts more than helps. Good luck and Happy New Year!

Yes, Tesla could keep the (new refresh) Model X Change the Body style (from behind the driver)- Stretch into a minivan with sliding doors. Keep the wheel base, battery, and suspension the same. Make it more Roomy to the rear and more storage behind 3rd row seats.

I was also thinking about how Tesla needsd to have something special planned for the Model X when the new Y hits the market. I may want something a bit larger than the Model Y and don’t really want to pay extra for the strange fancy falcon wing doors. It needs a more traditional SUV shape in order to maximize interior space and allow for 6 full sized adults to sit comfortably.

Your constant harping on the Model X got tiring. You do know there are many people who can afford the added cost and believe the added features are worth it. I've owned 2 Model Y's and 1 Model 3 and if Tesla does a minor refresh of the X I will buy it regardless of the added price.

there'll be a day off in the future for me when I finally drive the wheels off the Y I have now. I will say this: If, for whatever reason, that goofy looking "yoke" steering apparatus ever gets a foothold, they can just scrape the chance of me ever buying another Tesla ever again... 2nd thing is the FSD worship in the world finds their match in those who are quintessential drivers by their own nature. Nothing finer than taking off on a very long trip and finding that stretch of road that says "PUNCH IT!!!"
