I really love the dramatic use of colors in this quilt pattern and you make it look "sew" easy! I did miss seeing the final product though and wondered if there was now a finished product picture for me to see.

My favorite quilt so far. Not too hard to make but looks quite difficult when done. Never boring to the eyes. Great tutorial. I like Jenny's tutorials as well, but these few from her daughter are great too.

I made this quilt several years ago and it is still one of my favorites. My quilt turned out so beautiful. I was new to sewing and the quilt I made following this tutorial made me feel like a professional!
@michellehayes62024 жыл бұрын
How did you get your squares to come out even? I've tried cutting the box with the ruler and it's always vary uneven 😥
@dconner844 жыл бұрын
@@michellehayes6202 I think one problem I had was that you have to switch directions when you sew the strips together or they start to go all wonky. So rotate starting from the top or bottom every time you add a new strip, don't start from the same side every time. Also, are you lining up the ruler with the bottom of the fabric or on the stitch line. That might be part of the problem.

This is my first video I ever saw on your website. After taking two beginning quilt classes that made me feel like a failure I quit quilting for awhile. Then I saw this video and said hey this looks easy enough I can do that and then I did. This video gave me the confidence I needed to quilt again and you explain things so nice and easy for someone like me to understand unlike the two quilt classes I paid for.

Great job, Natalie! This is a super way to use my fav J.R.s. I like to make quilts for donations to homes for kids and abused women. This is a great addition to my collection of quick but pretty quilt patterns. My quilt guild just added another needy group...homebound elderly..who often have nearly nothing. A lap or bed quilt will really give them somw warmth and love! Thanks, Marty

I have watched this video a number of times through the years. I love this quilt. I have made 2 of them. One for a friend in pastels, and one for myself with a purples jelly roll with some lighter blues mixed in. Both turned out beautiful. It makes a large throw quilt. I really love making this pattern. And great for hand or machine quilting. I hand quilted these but I like using the walking foot when I machine quilt.
