this is awesome. i have a question, tho. how do you clean all those brushes? are they all washable? the bigger, hard bristled broom one-is that washable? or is the glaze oil based and thus "one and done" with all those brushes?

thank you! the glaze is water based so they're all washable with soap and water. i clean the nail brush first and then use that brush to clean the other bigger ones. so multipurpose right?? 😆 it would be pretty expensive for those to be one and done which i'm not willing to do/waste haha. but if you used oil based products you could clean it with mineral spirits, but it smells pretty strong and is messy to do that

I know I’m new at this. You used an oil base primer. So it’s ok to also use water base over it??

Yup water based paints on top of oil or shellac based primer is fine! Just let everything dry ☺️

There were two round marks on the top you could have filled with wood filler... Otherwise, beautiful transformation. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the tip! It wasn’t damage but some type of joinery design so I left it 😋
