have been on KZbin since 2012, at that time i didn't really have a care about subscribers, it was just great to get some views. My channel was left for a few years with no uploading of any videos, or any adjusting of keywords etc or anything. Just recently I have taken a better interest in the growth of my channel. I love this. Sadly, as a new affiliate marketer, its not that easy to get affiliate links. You need to contact sellers and give them long speeches about what you do and what can you bring for the company. Then theres no guarantee that they will consider you. Most sellers go only with affiliate marketers who already have a history of high traffic comission sales so good luck with that. I've started two weeks ago by myself with extensive research but none of the sellers have answered still.

It all depends on the niche - a lot of niches allow affiliates who simply purchase their product. But regardless, this is the value of starting to create content - at the start, I just focused on creating KZbin videos so I could get traffic. If you just focus on that, you’ll have more than enough traffic for vendors to accept you :-) And by the way, it still took me 6 months before I ever made a dollar online… business takes time. Remember that 💯

Hi Thomas, first off, love your content. As I stated before, I started my channel because of you. But one thing I'm confused about is why is the course $247 and on top of that you pay $97 for the high ticket course. So is everything not in the $247 course to be successful? I know that might not be a lot of money to you, but unfortunately many of us don't have that to invest in a course right now. Plus I'm a senior citizen and I really want to do this. I've put links in the pinned comments and in the description and even on the video screen. I've yet to sell anything. I've put several shorts up and they just haven't performed as well as my regular videos. I am starting to rank now after about 4 years of posting videos. I don't think this method as you describe it will help very many of your viewers. You also need to find affiliate links that will be of interest to your viewers of that video. What would link 3 amazing facts about space to people who stumble across it on the shorts shelf? Would they be wanting to buy a telescope? Maybe, but Amazon only pays about 1-3%. 3% of $500 would be around $15. I don't mean to sound pessimistic but I don't think that's going to happen for a while and if you don't make at least $50 most companies take it back. I hope someone comments on how wrong I am. Please, how many affiliate sales have you made from a shorts video?

To qualify as a short by youtube It has to be 60 seconds or less. Make it 59 to be sure. If it goes to 61 seconds then It does not qualify as short any more

You don’t technically need to add the #shorts anymore when you upload a vertical video, but you can if you’d like to. You can upload shorts videos from your iPhone KZbin app a different way, but I’d suggest just doing it the way I showed.

After trying this out, I think the person who clicks on the link and signs up, has to pay the membership fee that is being offered in order for YOU to get paid. You don't get paid by them just clicking on the link.

Just an FYI, Invideo's prices are double. $30 a month for business and $60 for unlimited. My bad, I watched one of your older videos that showed $15 and $30

Those are the same old prices, $60/m & $30/m when paid monthly but it’s 50% cheaper when you pay yearly ($30/m & $15/m). But they recently updated prices, they’re constantly adding more to it. It’s always best to be early in anything for this reason :-) but you end up getting it, make sure you pay with the yearly option (it’s still way cheaper with new pricing) and use code GARETZ25 for 25% off your entire order.

I explained this in the video - people are scrolling on KZbin shorts and watching videos… and like I said, most people who are watching videos on KZbin would most likely want to make money using KZbin instead. But I wouldn’t say it’s a perfect fit, by any means… but it allows you to make videos about any facts, because it’s a broad product. Now, if you had a specific channel about only space facts… then you may want to promote another product because as you grow, you’re more likely to get more people interested in that specific industry, since that’s what all your videos are about.
