I went to Sephora today, got shade matched and they recommended this foundation. It’s amazing! It truly DOES look like “your skin but better”. WORTH the money! (By the way, I have combination skin that’s on the dry side)

After having this foundation for a few months, it's now my favorite summer foundation! I live in a very hot and sweaty climate and it's the best, it doesn't budge and it looks gorgeous and blurring and doesn't catch on any dry patches. The only time I've ever had issues with it was 2 times I forgot to shake it before use. It didn't melt into my skin and emphasized dryness, so my advice is always shake the bottle before use! Every other time I've used it has been perfection ☺️

Hi Shelley this one looked really good and that's really great wear for 12 hours. I got a sample of the newly reformulated Dior forever skin glow in their new shade 00N - which miraculously is a fabulous match to my skin tone (the first Dior foundation ever to be available in a shade to suit me). It's such an excellent shade match and the first time in the over 30 years of wearing makeup to find such a good shade match lol, but the foundation itself is pretty on the skin. On my super dry skin it works best with a hydrating primer, but it lasts about 10 hours without powdering. I want enough coverage to conceal my rosacea - super pale skin so the redness is very obvious when it is flared up. It's a medium coverage that will build up a bit without becoming cakey. I don't think it would look as good built to full coverage, but up to high medium it looks nice. There haven't been many videos on the reformulated version and I'm curious how it would work for you - compared to so many others lol. Best wishes.

I am with you, have been trying foundation after foundation on the hunt for something that looks good on my 66 year old mature skin! I finally found one that works for me, and that is Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue Foundation. Love that foundation, but still looking for something that is a little less radiant. I may give this one a try.

I bought this about 6 weeks ago and it is my new holy grail. It lasts the way it says it will, and I can wear it for 16 hours and go to a workout in the evening and it still looks amazing. I've held off buying the new Nars and of course my shade went out of stock during the Sephora spring sale, but I'm not really fussed because I am enjoying the MUFE so much.

Haha I love that! It's nice to wake up and look good after a nap ☺️ I was sold on it after I swatched it and it lasted all day and I had to wash it off my arm with oil cleanser. Plus the finish is so pretty and easy to use! I was a little hesitant to use it too frequently at first because of the high alcohol, but I love it so much I gravitate to it and want to use it all the time. I looove how it lasts so well, through activities and sweat and heat!

The sweat is a lifestyle 😂 this summer is going to be the real test, but so far it has actually lasted (and looked good!) through sweaty activities including dancing, so I'm very hopeful.

They're suuuuuuuper close.... both get As from me.... HD Skin scored a few points higher but it's really negligible at that point. I think in terms of preference I'd go with whichever is a better shade match. They changed up their numbering for this one.

I have the stick foundation from MUFE & it's one of my favorites so I definitely wanna try this but I wanna watch reviews on "realistic" skin so typical I love when a product looks really good on dry skin especially & if it's mature skin I more likely to love the product 😀.

@@oceanbird. so I have dry textured skin, whenever I wore it It gave me a flawless finish. It's a medium coverage and doesn't extenuate my texture or pores. I have to buy a new one lol. Mine got old. Its so hard for me to find a foundation that looks beautiful on my textured dry skin.

Broken bronzer case: Try a rubber band. Easy to put on and take off, and it makes the case less slippery. Love the foundation!

Oh my goodness!! I clicked on this so fast!! You’re the one who got me hooked on Makeup Forever Reboot. Now I’m totally convinced to buy this after seeing this on you. You look STUNNING seriously!! My absolute FAVORITE foundation on you. I’m just trying to figure out what color? I have Y225 in the Reboot & it’s a little dark but I add a tiny bit of a lighter shade of another brand to get my perfect match. Help me on a color match Shelly lol. I was waiting for you to say that this made you feel a bit dehydrated because I’ve heard or read that a few times. I think there is denatured alcohol pretty high in the ingredient list. Can you please comment on this? I actually returned the Reboot after trying it and haven’t ever used another complexion product from MUF. I think, based on your “A” review, I’ll get color-matched and get a sample of this!! Thanks Shelly! ❤️

@R.C. There are different types of alcohol but denatured, if it’s high in the ingredient listing, can be dehydrating. There is a KZbinr in her late 50s who thought this MUF foundation felt dehydrating and then she reviewed the ingredients and said it made sense because of the denatured alcohol. I think I’ve recalled Shelly discussing this topic and I know she has often mentioned whether foundations feel hydrating or don’t. I was just curious.

It usually ends up being a matter of whether there are enough hydrating ingredients to balance the denatured alcohol for me. I feel like they've done a good job on balancing this one. I've worn it for a week straight without additional dryness.

It does look beautiful! Unfortunately, it aggravated me that MUF was using a social media advertisement where she was saying “I didn’t use any filter” and it was the MOST obvious filter I’d ever seen! (Many people commented about it, not just me. Lol). Really turned me off to the brand. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would describe it as a satin finish - slightly less luminous than fully dewy, but not at all matte. It's not completely transfer proof but it wears well under a mask and I usually get more than 12 hours of wear out of.

Nars Light Reflecting Foundation is the only foundation I've ever given a perfect 100%. I've got multiple shades so I can wear it year-round and it's the only foundation I brought with me last summer for 2 months of travel. If I had to pick only one.... that would be it.

Definitely not as strong as Dior but I can smell it initially when I apply it. It's not so strong that it bothers me and it dissipates quickly. I do wish they'd all quit putting fragrance in foundation :(

Dang it! That’s another one for the wish list. If I ever get to the point of actually going out regularly again, I’ll wear makeup more often. I’m tired of being a hermit! (But having an autoimmune disease will do that to you). And yes, we love seeing you, Ziva girl! I have to be careful so Nina doesn’t get jealous that I’m looking at other cats. But you’re definitely more of a stinker than she is. Well, except in the morning when she thinks the sunup means breakfast. It never bodes well for mid June when the sun comes up around 5AM.

I have REALLY good luck with MUFE foundations! There are a handful of brands that just work really well on me - MUFE, Nars, MAC... yep I definitely love this one.

What kinds of primer do you use with it??

I didn't wear primer for this video though did have the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream on under it. I've worn it with my usual primers though with no problems (such as the Caliray primer or Wet n Wild Impossible Primer).

Hi! Looking good! Have to comment on the Flower bronzer- mine broke the same way the 2nd time I used it. I replaced it, the new one has busted too. It's not you lady- their packaging is awful!
