what i love about this channel is it’s not the basic “oh, i make 100k from being a doctor,” or “i make this much by being a teacher, nurse, etc” you guys show people who work in different fields and are making good money, these fields often don’t get talked about in school and it’s so nice to see!

911 dispatcher would be cool. Some girl I follow on instagram just got a job offer for it and is waiting for the background check. I'll try telling her to try and get on here lol. Last week I talked to a solar panel installer, he came to the store searching for a 'tether' for his tools. I asked him about his job and he makes only $4/hr more than minimum wage, and the company has let go of half of his team due to lack of demand for solar with the slowing economy. That made me really happy to have my current job at the hardware store where I am making $2 more than minimum wage, and I don't have to risk my life climbing up onto roofs all day long.

Please keep on highlighting the skilled trades! We need to stop sending the message to kids that college is the only answer. I am so glad to see a renewed focus on the trades because there are huge shortages in the trades that jobless young people could be filling if they were presented with that option early on, in high school.

Every hard worker deserves respect from all. Collectively they make the society running smoothly. Every healthy and able human that is lazy and only wants to get something for nothing, commit crime to take free stuff, or take handouts for granted should be condemned. The world would be a much better place with more of the former respectable people and less of the latter parasites.
