@uuuultra thats a very complicated answer honestly and some people think it can be simplified but it really cant the issue is there are people who choose to be homeless and that can go get jobs and other things but there are also alot more people who cant because jobs secretly and sometimes out roght discriminate against people who are homeless so its a class issue but theres also the factor of cities straight up making it impossible for these people to live in the first place which it then becomes a systemic issue but theres also the fact that the economy is going downwards and its making it so these people cant even start even if they manage to get a job or income so its a economic issue theres probably more im leaving out but it cant really be fixed with one thing or simplified

@@uuuultra As SiegeYT said it is very complicated issue and its not easy to solve. It is usually due to socioeconomic conditions such as little income that forces someone to be homeless. The rising costs of living and the shortage of homes are making them more unaffordable(do I eat or do I pay my rent etc) plus I have often seen a bidding war(which is illegal where I live) for the weekly rent of the property. If the government was willing to build homes for every homeless person, then you would have people voluntarily abandon their homes to obtain a free home from the government making it even more unaffordable There are governments who try to solve the problem with Social Housing which is basically the government is the landlord but then they are also slugged with the repair costs. It is not an easy problem to solve.

HOPING THE CREATOR SEES THIS: Okay so I get that you're making sandwiches for the homeless and that they are very hungry and will probably eat anyting... BUT... you might need to account for the fact that some people absolutely HATE mayonnaise and some people are allergic to it. Especially the egg in the mayo. So maybe just make a few sandwiches without mayonnaise? That might sound silly to you but I can promise you that no matter how hungry I have been in my past - even when I was homeless - I will never eat anything that has ever touched anything that has touched mayonnaise ever.
